These jeans fit exactly as described with a relaxed fit and a “tapered” bootleg. The opening at the bottom is 9” wide (18” round) on a 40x32 pair of jeans. The length causes the jeans to stack but not too much. The material is very soft and the stretch makes them very comfortable to wear. I just wish they made them in a plain dark blue color.

I originally got these in the lighter color but they ended up being too big since I’ve never worn Ariat jeans before. When I went to order the lighter ones in a smaller size, they were out of my size. I saw these jeans which were the same style but darker and decided I’d try them since my size was in stock. Let me tell you, I am so thankful my size was out in the lighter ones because these look so nice. They’re so comfortable, fit amazingly, don’t give me lovehandles like every other brand of jeans does, and the color is really nice. I cannot recommend these enough and I will be purchasing these over and over again until they’re discontinued (which I hope never happens). I bought these a week ago and hoped that I wouldn't have to ship them back based on the fit. Often times my waist size varies between a 36 or 38. However the 36 fit me perfectly. So I didn't know about Ariat until my fourteen year old nephew bought a pair of your boots. The most beautiful boots ever. So as a gift I decided to buy him a pair of jeans. He' 6'3" so he took a 31/36 They fit perfectly, and look so good. They also appear to be rugged and durable. He loves them. I'll be back before the holidays!
Truthfully one of the best fitting jeans I’ve had in awhile! Now days it’s really hard to find a good pair of jeans that feel good quality and fit as they should! I was leeryAt first since I’ve never owned any Ariat jeans before and ordering jeans online can already be a hassle… That being said I am absolutely thrilled with them! Since I’ve worn them I’ve already washed and warm them 5 times and I’ve only had them for a week! Would recommend to anyone looking for a solid Jean that’s gonna last and hold its shape and feel! I bought these after checking the reviews online. From the top, the waist is almost correct for me. They're a little loose around the top. From there heading down, they're loose in the seat and in the ol twig and berry storage area. The legs then descend and they're baggy. Not my style. If i wanted to have fabric on my legs that loose, I'd put a kilt on. The leg tapers at the foot opening to accommodate whatever style of boot you wear or your favorite heels if you're into that stuff. The reviews made them sound like a good brand and style of jean. Not to mention the picture of the dude modeling had trapped me into thinking the actual jeans were what they actually liked it.I ordered a 35x32 pair hoping they matched the reviews. This purchase makes my very first from Ariat. I have worn them once, and so far very pleased. Straight out of the box I was impressed with the quality and design on pockets. Definitely more stylish than my old jeans from a different brand. Ordering online from Ariat was also simple and my jeans came quickly, even though they told me to be patient, it would be worth the wait. It was!
I love the look and feel of these pants. I recently lost a large amount of weight and needed some new jeans. My wife had bought my son a pair of these and I liked the way they looked so, I bought me a pair and they look very nice. Nice enough that the wife says they are what I am wearing in this years family photos.
These jeans didn’t even last two months. My husband barely wore them. For the money we paid I expect them to last longer. Ripped in the front leg along the seam. Normally buy the M2 Brandon but they were out of stock, so purchased these.
I jumped on to the skinny jean thing for the past few years (I am thin enough that I can work it. (well, good enough). Time to go for the more rugged look! My daughter is a fashion designer for a major woman's clothing label. I asked her opinion on these jeans. She said, "100%. They look cool." Needless to say, I bought them - and, I plan to buy more. They look good with my boots and a t-shirt. I am 58yo. I play drums in 2 Detroit-area bands as side-hustles to my demanding day job. My 3 daughters said I look hip in these. So, I'm in! I get their blessing and it's a "go"
