This appliance already fitted in my brand new home . Thought may be good that why vendor fitted after using this gas had a bad experience donn’t know why they had stand above burner and quality of the steel and burner even worst

I bought the cooktop nearly a month ago as a replacement for my 30+ year old cooktop. It was the only cooktop that was 65cm and could match the cutout of the old one.Love that I can now fit more than one pot on the cooktop, the auto-ignite and that the gas can be turned down incredibly low without the flame going out. Cooking temperature seems to be even across all the hobs.Only downside is cleaning. As you need to be careful with what you use so as not to scratch the stainless steel. The other half so inspired by the cooktop, he has been making jaffles and these can ooze over the hobs and if it gets cooked onto the hob it is hard to remove. I had this purchased 9 months ago by the person designing my kitchen. I have already had the plate replaced from marks on it a month after installation. Now it looks exactly the same and the branding is fading off. It takes me an hour to clean as it leaves streaks. The burners are fine but also mark on the silver. I want to replace it with a different cooktop it’s that bad but the hole is 650mm which I think only fits Ariston. Do not buy this if you want a quick clean. It looks 100 years old,

Looks great & does everything needed, but the quality of the stainless steel is very very low, I rang their distributor in Aust & its a known issue, but not warranted as they view it as cosmetic. Avoid at all cost not the quality the claim to be
our builder purchased or recommended this product. We just moved in our new place about a month ago, first week after using the cooktop we already noticed the small little dot, and after a month it gets worst and I called Ariston, they said is cosmetic can't change or fix it, just buy Hillmark Steelkleen Stainless Steel Cleaner product to protect it. We are shocked, living in aot at our cooktop, aftell the houses but never we encounter such lousy product and service.
