I've had several of these now and had to swap them all out due to false triggering. They are sensitive to wind and especially to electrical noise from ripple control signals (controlled load signal). This was confirmed by masking the sensor and noting them turn on and off with the control signal (can be heard in the ceiling fan). Don't buy these.

Works really great, very useful modification to a light in a occasionally used storage container, when someone breaks a switch, now no switch can be broken and saves power usage

This is way too sensitive as even the wind seems to set this off! I have played with the settings, of which there are 2, light sensitivity and time. There is no "motion sensitivity" to adjust so this thing just constantly goes off for no reason.

Bench tested sensor & found to be not working. Exchanged for working unit
Rubbish product. Not waterproof at all. Pulled it apart after a couple of months use, rusted inside and full of water. Definitely an electrical hazard.
I brought this sensor to replace another one. There is no way to adjust sensitivity settings. As such an inspect flying past will trigger your light. I would nor recommend to purchase.
Does not last long. This is my forth one in last three years.
I have two light sensors on my property, this model and a CLA. Both are pointing in roughly the same direction. The Arlec false triggers all the time when its windy, very frustrating.
I purchased this unit. install and after a week the light it was switching stayed on , do not waste your time buying this rubbish
no instructions or tips to help separate the 2 plastic components without damage
