I have installed five of these flood lights around buildings in the garden over the last year. Two stage light brightens up when someone approaches with very much more light output over a much larger area than other brands. Easy to mount and very rugged construction easily copes with summer heat and winter frost. The large area of solar cells runs the light from dusk to dawn and they are still going strong a year later. On/off button is easy to access from below, especially when mounted up high. Note the battery cannot be changed.

These are great solar lights to install in those little dark corners of your garden/driveway/outdoor area. Easy to install, they provide a constant medium light, and when someone walks past, they click onto a much brighter light for 25-30 seconds. They do need a couple of hours of direct sunlight to last most of the night.Highly recommend.........I have bought 4 so far.

Had to take this back. It has a motion sensor, which I assumed would turn it self off after a while. It only turns it self down and glows all night. It just goes brighter when sensing movement, then reverts back to a lower light mode that never turns off.Sure you could push the button to turn it off... But that kind of defeats the purpose of having a motion sensor!

We have purchased loads of these over the years. The oldest must now be close to 5 years old and still going strong. We live off grid so use these as our primary lights . We put them out each day in the sun and bring them in at night and put them in their brackets attacked to the walls in the kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom areas. Not sure why people are saying there is no off switch - there is a rubber button just beside the sensor that turns them on and off. Love, love, love these!
Dims, not turn off completely. Should have the option of complete off and full activation on sensor. Can't imagine it will last long but then maybe that's what they want these days? Throw away and spend again culture?
These solar lights are easy to install and throw out a great deal of light for their size. I need to purchase more however they are unavailable. Bunnings please keep stocking this product and don’t discontinue it!
Solar light is really good as described elsewhere, except one aspect. It turns on as expected, but didn't turn off after timer runs out, only dulls. So during the night it's always on, but brighter when activated, which I don't want.So it really has 3 modes:Off during the day.Bright at night when activated. On dull throughout ready of the night.
I have many (around15) of these lights around my garden and they are the best I’ve ever found. Some I’ve had for years and I’ve only ever had a problem with one that stopped working. They are nice and bright and very durable. Sorry to hear they’ve been discontinued ☹️
This is our second purchase of the Arlec light, the first is still going strong after several years. We were surprised at the limited stock scross many Bunnings stors, so we had to travel to purchase it. It is a great light, dim througout the night but brightens when you approach. Attractive, low-profile, easy to install with bracket included, and an affordable price, would defi nitely recommend
I've had one of these in service for 4 years now. When placed correctly with 6 or more solid hours of sunshine, you get solid service for 6+ hours. I've had it by our back gate which gets poor sun in winter, it doesn't get enough charge to last long, but as the season changes and it gets more light, each yeah it reliably serves its purpose. I'd buy more for sure. Wish there was a remote solar panel version of this to give more sun during winter months.
