We have recently moved into a new build and have been looking at getting a cctv doorbell. However so glad we didn't go for that brand. First of all it's very easy to install. My husband took around 5 minutes to attach it to the wall. We have render and I did panick about him blowing a hole in the wall but he did it perfectly. The attachments are great and it's very sturdy. I did panick when realising its attached by a magnetic but a week after it was fitted, we had a horrendous storm and my pro4 didn't move at all.The picture quality is amazing. The Arlo Pro 4 is a quite good camera. It's not over big and is white in colour.It's provided with a mounting bracket which can be fitted almost anywhere.The camera then attaches to the bracket by a strong magnet. Which enables you to position the camera how you want it.This is a 2k camera, full colour with night vision and an LED spotlight. In addition it has two way audio.I do feel though that camera should have a better secure fixing to the mounting as I feel if the camera is at low level, such as on a bungalow it can easily be removed.I found that the camera gave a very good clear view in colour and that the veiw was quite wide.Tha camera has a rechargable battery which is charged via a usb cable at present I can't say how long the battery ... MoreThe Arlo Pro 4 is a quite good camera. I was impressed at how easy it was to set up. You need to be able to connect it to a 2.4Ghz channel on your router. I called my Internet provider to help me to do this and it took five minutes. There's a slight delay between what's happening and what is being displayed. The product is feature rich and easy to operate from the App. Some of the features that I really like are the siren, two way microphone and that the spotlight can be controlled from the App. I've not owned it for long but the fact that it can operate on one charge for six months is brilliant.

When watching live on my phone it is a few seconds out but when speaking to the camera through my phone the sound comes through on the camera in real time.The sound quality is not great. When speaking to the camera, the sound emitted is quite low. There was also some feedback to my phone at times.In order to use features such as cloud storage you need to subscribe to a plan.Generally the camera quality and features are good however the lag and sound quality let it down.
This camera is a great design. It has a bracket to fix to the wall and the camera connects to it with a strong magnet. It is wireless and is easily removed to charge. I have not had to charge it yet as it is new but reviews have said it lasts about 6 weeks in normal mode. The camera itself gives a very clear image and is even colour at night time. Had a few issues trying to get the speaker working properly but am still tweeking the settings. There is the ability to recognise vehicles, people and animals as different objects and be notified differently for each type. There is a subscription to pay to have all of the features this camera can provide including storage of videos, which isn’t what I expected, but there are still lots of features which can be used without.
This is the first remote camera we have had and we are pleasantly surprised by the quality and set up of the system. We have used this to monitor our garden and it has responded well by not being too sensitive to motion but has picked up movement. The speaker system is an added bonus so that sound is available to use. The one improvement that could be made is that the instructions were not the clearest, it is also interesting to note what will happen at the end of the 3 month service trial. Overall though would recommend for use in medium properties and great picture quality and interaction.

After the trial it offers many great priced offers and options to cater for your set up . The camera quality is absolutely fantastic and even at night you can clearly see all you would need to with colour night vision . I really feel alot more at ease now knowing how simple it was to set this kit up to help protect my home as well as my family but also its a great convenience to allow you to interact with visitors while you may be out of your home .
I bought the Arlo Pro 4 with 2 cameras, no base station required. The system was easy and quick to set up. Cameras are charged by pulling them off the brackets, no unscrewing needed, and using the magnetic charger provided. Charging is quick. The cameras came with one magnetic fixing and one swivel fixing - just screw the brackets to the wall and position the cameras on the bases - simple!The App is great and very easy to use. Just put in your wi-fi password and add your 'devices' and use preferences. There's an integrated spotlight and siren. The system alerts are mostly very prompt and very clear. Even the night vision is good with the spotlight on.Thinking of getting a third camera now! Highly recommended and a very good price from John Lewis.
