Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Mens Perfume

When I first got this in I thought the opening was a bit harsh/sharp and the smokiness of the fragrance made it hard for me to find a setting to wear this. I put off wearing it and hoped that if I leave it without the cap on for a few months it might become a bit smoother. I did however spray it on myself when I was at home (only 1 spray and the wrist) to see how I feel about it. Whenever I would do that my brother would compliment how good I smell. I then built up the courage to wear it on a night out with my girlfriend (she is not the biggest fan of this scent). I put on about 6 sprays and went on my way. Bear in mind this was more than 6 hours after applying this fragrance. All in all this taught me a few things about this fragrance. 1. This smells better in the air than directly off skin (other people will enjoy it more than the wearer) 2. This fragrance has great projection and longevity (I have a 2021 batch) 3. This works well as a night out/compliment getting scent 4. I would not wear this as an office or gym scent as it is just too loud and attention grabbing 5. The dry down is so good that it makes the harsh opening forgivable

There's nothing about this I can say that hasn't already been said. The scent is amazing. Some batches do have that very synthetic clean lemon opening, but in my opinion that's only with the EDT. The EDP opens really smooth and settles down very well. I put this on the moment it arrived at my door. My lady was throwing compliments quick. She said the dry down smells the best. I got compliments at work pretty heavily. And one compliment at the gym. Which lets me know it is very long lasting. The sillage, projection, performance, etc. Are very good. I blind bought the 6.8oz/200ml bottle and have no regrets. Gentlemen, if you want to smell good for your partner or gain some attention give this a go. It's going to be my signature fragrance for a long time. (Batch: 8/2022)

For a creed adventus clone this is decent, I heard everyone say how amazing this fragrance was so I picked it up for myself. The big criticism I heard was how harsh the opening was, and they where right. The opening smells like a harsh chemical spray. The dry down however is beautiful compared to the opening, you can definitely tell the difference between this and the original adventus, however there are a good amount of similarities. This projects like a beast, it lasts about 8 hours for me and 3 sprays was all I needed. My big flaw with this, other then the opening is that it gave my skin rashes where I sprayed it. I haven’t seen anyone else say they had this happen to them, however it’s still something to have in mind.

Want to smell like Pine-Sol? This is the one for you! But seriously, it has a harsh/brash opening. The lemon and citruses really stand out for the first half hour or so. It dries down to smell the bitter dry leather accords. Clean smoky leather wiped with lemon scented wipes. No but seriously, it just was not for me but every skin is different, it might be for you. Try it out if smoked citrus and leather seem interesting to you. The leather isn't very overpowering as other leather fragrances. Suitable for any occasion if I'm being honest; however I don't recommend more than 3 sprays if you're wearing it for the office, and 3 might be pushing it! Also, spray before you leave the house NOT when you're about to walk in the office.

As it dries down the strength of the lemon smell calms down and starts to mix with a fruity note. The fruity lemon citrus comba stays with the cologne for much of its life in the EDT, but moves from the front to the middle in the dry down. The EDP is definitely smoother and smokier than the EDT, wich makes me think I prefer the older batches of a Aventus that where smoky and not so much the newer fruitier batches now on the market. For what it’s worth, this could be the best bang for the buck, literally and figuratively in the cologne industry. It’s better than a lot, but still it’s not going to smell better than the Adventus. It smells like a citrusy bathroom cleaner at first, and I was taken aback several times by this ability. Just horrible. On a positive note once it starts to dry down, this one is an absolute bargain. I wear it fairly often, due to its scent and complexity. Also it’s length of service is special. Let’s first take a look at the bottle. The stupid fake chain with the Armaf circle will break off. Also the fake diamonds on this black square shape are laughable. It is one of the worst looking bottles in my collection. A modern art disaster. Yet the atomizer is surprisingly good. You’ll be able to with three easy sprays, to go the distance with this. That alone is quite.an accomplishment in this or any price range. Made in France, this one has some complex notes. These would include lemon, pineapple, apple, bergamot, rose, birch, jasmine, musk, patchouli, and depending on weather vanilla. This is a stack of good notes, and sure it’s a bit synthetic. Yet looking at the price, I’m amazed by how this switches around the notes. They put thought into this, and a lot of times after the monstrous opening, it becomes a lot like mixing Montblanc Explorer Legend with Versace Pour Homme. This masculine scent definitely is solid, but to compare it to high end stuff is a reach that’s not appropriate. People will smell you and like it for the most part. Summer days off or a date are where I recommend this. For the office it’s probably too loud, and in the cold, this is where it’s projection is severely hampered. Versatility is important to me, and this is hindered in that regard. It gets a recommendation, but not a screaming with enthusiasm one. This citrusy bubble gum scent is fun, and there’s no doubt about that. Yet just remember to rate it according to itself, not niche houses that are far superior.

Lives up to the hype!

I've heard so many times about the "harsh lemon pledge" open, but in my opinion that is overstating things. Of course the opening is different, that's true of any fragrance. When this stuff dries down- put aside for a second the fact that it is a "creed Aventus clone" - it is a wonderful, amazing scent. I own several fragrances, including creed Aventus, and this juice is absolutely one of my favorites. I feel like I robbed somebody for the price point on this. And, on my skin, I get easily 10 hours of longevity with a good couple hours of strong projection. As for Fragrancex as a company, the prouduct arrived quickly and packaged well. I have and will continue to purchase fragrances from them. In closing, cdnim is a home run from Afnan and I rate it 10/10.
