Great for thinning out your speed paints/ lightening the colour.

A great medium for thinning Speedpaints. Also does a better job of thinning Quickshade Washes than the actual Quickshade Wash Mixing Medium, as it has no white pigment.

It seems like a lot of the Army Painter Speed Paints are more than adequate and do well with a little bit of dilution. This medium works great for that; series 1 paints seem to tolerate down to about 66% dilution, depending on the color of paint. I’ve also tried this as medium for some war paints; AP and Vallejo Game Color paints thin down and cover well with a little bit of this mixed in on a wet palette. Lastly, I’ve mixed this with AP gold or silver metallic paints to good effect; the coverage is nice and the paint doesn’t become goopy like usual.Overall, this is a fantastic medium to have in the toolbox.

Found it really easy to use once I watched a few videos on how to use it. Grest when you don't have the full set of paint colors to work with.
I use this with speedpaints (1 drop medium to 1 drop paint) its very nice to lighten colours but I've also used them to thin acrylic paints instead of water so I can paint over the speedpaint without having to worry about removing it.Wish it came in a bigger bottle.
This does a wonderful job of thinning and blending Army Painter Speed Paints. Goes through the airbrush well too.
You kind of need this to use Speedpaint to it’s fullest. Way more control than just water, minimizing the “reactivation” issue, that this paint can have. I’ve also had much more success with layering, with normal acrylic paints as well. “Almost” no issues…just operator error.
SpeedPaint is great. With the SpeedPaint medium and inks I make my own paints that work just like standard SpeedPaint colors. This gives me a lot more flexibility.
It's a tad tricky to get used to but if you like the SpeedPaint and figure out how to get the right consistency it's great to turn any paint into SpeedPaint.
Honestly thought I would use this more than I do. This happens to be from the speed paint 1.0 line where it would reactivate with water.I tend to use this paint more with miniatures that I just want to slap together to be used once for like a dnd game. It kind of works with regular acrylics, but it's best used to thin the actual speed paints down.Works ok, I've just rarely ever needed to use it compared to as much as I've used contrast paint medium.
