One chair wobbly and lopsided when assembled. Found main bracing piece under chair was broken. Has never been sat on and cannot be unless repaired and reinforced due to soft timber used in construction. Second chair ok but not been used as not confident will be usable long term.

This is a very comfortable chair to seat and watch TV or read a book. It's slim line which is what I was wanting. In fact I love the chair and would recommend for the above but, too fully recline takes a lot of pressure to keep it back and you feel like you're constantly pushing back. When the back is back the seat comes up and you feel very high in the chair.

It is great value for money but was heavy as lead in a box left at my door. Had to get a passing tradesman to get it into the house for me and I had trouble assembling it, I am an elderly lady. If I buy a bigger one or another type of thing which needs assembly, do you provide for a fee a person to assemble? The chair is excellent for the cost fabulous

Great chair. Went together easily. Seems to work well but I haven't used it much yet. Quality down a star due to a slight gap appearing on one side of the backrest (between the arm and the backrest) so it looks like the alignment is slightly off. Even with this I'd still recommend it - this may be an issue only with my product. Other than that it looks exactly like the advertisement - I would give 4.5 stars if possible.

The chair is nice to look at, decorative, stylish.To sit in, not so comfy, needs lumbar support eg: put a cushion behind your back.Recliner functions well, easy to use.Overall not a bad product.

Cool chair - but delivered damaged

Bought this chair as a gift - when we set it up, we found it was damaged - slight tear in foot rest. Bought for a friend who is frail and he said he didn’t mind. Every time I see the chair with the damage, it makes my blood boil. I know I should have returned it, but with big items like this, it’s just too hard

Good buy

Very happy with this chair. Could not find any in store anywhere locally to try/view so took a gamble and after measuring a similar style chair we owned and comparing the listed measurements, purchased sight unseen. Arrived in a box that we needed to assemble but very simple to do so. Very reasonable price. Delivery time was brilliant even though we live in a rural locality. Might buy another one.

Great value for money

Great value for money. Looks great, easy to put together, and the recliner mechanism is really nifty. The foam of the seat cushion could be a little higher quality, but for the price, it’s definitely worth five stars.

Only lasted 2years

I bought a pair and at first they were great. But after two years of use the springs began to come out of them, the padding receded and you basically sat on a ledge of springs and then it would drop about 3cm and have a good 10cm of flat unsprung and unpadded material to the edge of the chair. The one we used the least began to fall apart first with the material webbing coming away from the leg rest and then the internal chair leg support broke when my son sat into the chair further. When we opened up the back to try to fix it we found that it was built with cheap, low quality pine that splinters easily and was held together with long staples. Recliners should be a once a decade purchase at the outset, not every two years. Im quite disappointed.

Takes up less space than other Reclining Armchairs.

The setting up of the Chair, if taken slowly, is both easy and obvious.I have fitted a "block" on the rear legs to prevent them rotating on the ONE bolt securing them to the body of the chair. Without the usual cable on Reclining Armchairs the operation of the reclining by pushing on the backrest is awkward and difficult to control. The chair is either in the upright position or reclining, NO HALF WAY. Unsuitable for children or persons with limited body function.
