Previously, these cans were the only Japanese brewed Asahi available in Australia, but now even these are starting to appear in some stores as “brewed under supervision” here in Australia, and the difference is real!Only accept if brewed in Japan!Of course, it is personal taste, but for the true quality of this beer, you need to taste the REAL product.Check the packaging before purchase.

Unfortunately the glass 330 Ml litre bottles of said same beer brewed in Australia leave a lot to be desired. The Japanese import I would rate 10 out of 10.Not so the Australian brewed version although it is marketed as the same product. The flavour is shocking and I would be hard pressed to give it a 5 out of 10.Not sure if is the brewing process here ii Australia or the local water, but the Australian brewed version lets Asahi down big time. It's back to the 500 Ml Japanese cans for me !

Despite what their website says. This is NOT the imported from Japan version and it’s completely different. They used to be imported but now it’s not and simply it’s not a good. If I wanted an Aussie beer I’d be happy to buy a good Aussie beer. But this is now neither

Rich, refreshing lager style premium beer brewed in Japan. Asahi superdry can go with any cuisine. Blends perfectly with everything.Available in 500 ml cans at all BWS stores.
Asahi Super Dry is an easy drinkable beer for any weather! Love the convenience of the cans!
Give them another check, seems that they have listened or it was only temporary and they started importing again! 2023 is saved, new year old beer.
The 500ml cans used to be the only way you could buy Asahi that is actually brewed in Japan and imported to Australia. Now these are made in Australia similar to the bottles and taste completely different (far worse in my opinion). Worse still, the price is still the same as when it was an import.
Bought these under the impression they're imported from Japan. But cans state brewed under licence in Aus. Look elsewhere if you want the Japanese import
Uncomplicated, approachable and refreshingly dry beer. Also wins extra points for being packaged in a 500ml can. Take these toYour next BBQ lunch, you won’t be disappointed🍻
What a beer! Clean, ultra crisp and refreshing. Asahi is great value in the 500ml cans and is one of my all time go to lagers.
