This is the most comfortable casual looking shoe I’ve ever bought. I chose size 8 which is same size as my Brooks and ASICS runners. I wear these shoes to work where I stand or walk around for 8h! I don’t feel the need to take them off at any point of a day so I also wear them when I go for a walk with dogs! Basically they stay on my feet for around 10 hours every day!!! They are great on any surface even slippery! I loved them so much that I got a pair in white as well for different outfits! Great shoe that looks great with jeans or leggings! To me they are like runners in a casual disguise! 10 out of 10 for me!!! Thank you Ascent!

Best shoes for work if you have to stand for the whole shift. I work in a busy laboratory and these shoes make my life easier because my feet never hurt like they used to with other shoes. You need to wear them in for a day or so but after that they are the best. Highly recommend and worth every dollar.

These shoes are a god-send for women who need some extra width in their shoes - I wear a 'C' width in most brands. They also have some hidden depth. Usually when I choose shoes to wear with thin socks, they feel too tight with thick socks, and vice versa. But these shoes feel good either way. I have a pair in all black for work, and I will probably buy the all white to wear next summer as well.
I am required to be on my feet all day. I can walk up to 20000 steps per shift and be on hard surfaces the entire shift. My podiatrist recommended these to me as they have fantastic heal and ankle support and allow fitting for orthotics. These are very comfortable and will be purchasing a new pair very soon. The only con about these is I’ve worn out the soles very quickly.
The Ascent Stratus shoe is just awesome and has been a godsend to me. I have severe plantar fasciitis in my left foot and now my right foot is starting to play up. I was desperate to find shoes I could wear that would improve the pain I am feeling and allow me to walk. I tried many different brands and spent a lot of money doing so but to no avail. My podiatrist recommended these shoes and she said the cushioning on the inside would help with my heel pain..and they certainly did! Now I am looking forward to my holiday in June that will involve a lot of walking through archaeological sites in Greece. My new work shoes. This is my first pair of Ascent shoes. Purchased online without trying them on. Arrived quickly by post. Size 10.5. Fit is good. They slip at the heel a bit but when laces tied well this isn't an issue and not caused problems. I wanted something with laces, good support and comfy for walking before or after work. These shoes seem to be good in all these areas. It's true they are not all that "pretty" but practical is more important to me. Would consider other Ascent shoes in the future.
This shoe is not only super slick in its design it's also extremely comfortable. Nice deep shoe heel which is perfect for those that wear orthotics. The leather is super soft and doesn't need "breaking in" like other leather shoes. They have a non slip sole which is also great if you're looking for work shoes. They're the perfect mix between a work shoe and a slick weekend shoe for running around on the weekend
These were comfortable for just wearing around the house. Tried wearing them for a longer walk and found that the seam gave me blisters on the little toes. The dye also bled from the leather and discolours laces, socks etc. I contacted Ascent for advice on how to manage this issue and they had none for me. I’m going back to Frankie4s.
very comfy shoes. I wear them with orthotics which fit well. Often when you remove the original footbed to put in an orthotic you lose all the cushioning but these are still super comfy and spongy with my own orthotic in place. They are like walking on a cloud. My only complaint is that I need a little more room in the toe box and these put a bit of pressure on my big toe nails which causes pain by the end of the day. I am hoping they will stretch a bit with wear as I have only worn them 3 times so far.
