I have always bought these types of shoes for my two boys all throughout their schooling thus far as they have been great comfort wise and durability.

I have always bought these types of shoes for my two boys all throughout their schooling thus far as they have been great comfort wise and durability.
Advised by podiatrist to get these for my son who has pronation about 7 years ago. He has not had another shoe since for school. Very durable too. His feet stopped growing a few years ago and 1 pair lasted about 2.5 years! Pretty good for a kid who destroyed every other brand in about 3 terms previously.
These are by far our favourite shoe for school and regular exercise. They provide so much support through the arch and ankle and helping to maintain correct foot alignment.
I have bought these shoes for my eldest son for the past 3 years (Sizes 2, 3 and 5). The only problem is his feet grow out of them too quick. My second son is now wearing them and they are still in amazing condition. Yes they are more expensive than others, but the quality is amazing. My kids play soccer and run around and lunch time and they are great.
These school shoes last! I have a 10 yo boy who has massive feet and just thrashes his school shoes. I have purchased other quality school shoe brands in the past (not from Athletes Foot) only to be disappointed when they fell apart and needed replacing after 4 - 6 months. We purchased the Ascent Sustains for the 2022 school year and got the entire year out of them, and they have a heap more wear left in them - except they now dont fit. We've just purchased another pair for the 2023 school year and know they will handle everything my son puts them through and more. Really happy with the Ascent Sustains and they are well worth the $$ in my opinion!
Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I was told I need authotics but I thought I would see a podiatrist. After a short discussion and a couple of walking tasks, he suggested that I look at the shoes I should be wearing and that would be better than the ones I currently have.I bought 6 pairs of shoes recommended by a number of stores and with the comments from the podiatrist to assist the store person, all with the comment 'I will return these if they are not approved by the podiatrist.'4 pairs went back next day after visiting the podiatrist.I kept the other 2 pairs. Great school shoes-2nd pair I've bought! Very robust and hard wearing- last longer than the other school shoes did! Just wish kids didn't grow out of them so fast!
A great light weight shoe for kids, comfy with support. Also a great cheerleading performance shoe. Quality stitching, my daughter wears these for school all day long in the black.
