I’ve been wearing Asics’s Challenger series tennis shoes for 5 years now and they do the trick. I love the look of the silver logo on white - very classic. They’re basic but are priced well, especially when on sale. I hear the more expensive lines of Asics tennis shoes are super comfortable but I’m afraid if I try them I may not want to go back to the basic Challenger ones. Fits a bit narrow so I’m wearing a half size larger than normal.

I have tried many different shoes in the past 8 years of playing tennis and I have found this to be the best one. It fits perfectly and feels comfortable while playing. I usually play on hard courts and Astro and it seems to be working well. I play about four times a week and my feet feels good. I can’t think of any negatives as yet ( it has only been a month since I bought it)

Such a horrible shoe. Dont know whats wrong with it. First time this happens to me and ive worm many asics.1. I can not wear them more than half an hour my feet ache.2. I thought give it time there new. Nope gave it plenty of time. I have to loosen the laces and leave them un tied.3. The heal hurts4. Under my foot it hurts when wearing.5. My toes hurtFarout when i take them off and wear my nike sports shoes wow the difference no pain at all.So disappointing
I love ascis and have worn them for years for running and in the last year for tennis. This is the worst pair I have ever had hands down. I should have sent them back but thought I’d give them a try and boy HUGE mistake! The harder part on the outside of the soul caused me soo much knee pain. I wore them twice and now they will sit in my closet. Live and learn.
Very comfortable. Bought a pair for myself and 14 yo daughter. Size is perfect for her average to narrow foot, a little snug on my average to wide foot. Ordered true to size for her, 1/2 size up for myself. Broke in quickly. After one 90 minute training session we both felt our shoes fit well after a few laces adjustments. Very comfortable on landing, good grip on the court.No foot pain during or after. This was my first time playing in over 10 years!Overall, couldn’t be more pleased! Would totally purchase again.
Great tennis shoe- I got it at less than half price so I feel I did very welll as I would not have justified spending the £120 full price - my tennis is not that good! Shoe looks great, very comfortable. Wish I had gone down half a size though. My ASICS running shoes are a 6.5 but when I put that in the size guide for the tennis shoes a 7 was recommended. The 6.5 would have been better.
I have always worn a size 10.5, so this is what I ordered online. When I got them they felt decent walking around the house. When I went to play pickleball in them, my heel was coming out of the back. I sent an email to customer service and they said i could bring them to the nearest official Asics store to see if I could exchange them. The rep looked up our zip code and said there was no store within 60 miles (we live in the suburbs of Milwaukee). So he pretty much said there was nothing he could do. I have worn the shoes once and pretty much are stuck with them now. My advice, don't buy online and certainly don't expect any type of customer service this day in age!!
i put these on this morning and for the first 5 minutes I was worried that they were a little boxy feeling. I've been wearing the same shoes for too long I guess. After walking around my house for a bit I really grew to love the solid feel and support they provide. Played in them today and they were fabulous. Great support, quick reaction time, and firm footing. I love the dark blue with pink accents. They don't feel like there is too much plastic to be comfortable. Some of the shoes feel too rubbery but this is not the case with these. I very glad I went for the Gel-Challenger 13 Clay.
This is my third pair of these shoes. I wear them when playing pickleball inside and on outdoor courts. These are the first shoes that I have ever purchased that I didn't have to gradually break in. I am very hard to please when buying shoes. It's nice to be able to order online when you find a shoe that you like. I would definitely recommend these shoes.
