(10 reviews)

The GEL-DEDICATE 8 tennis shoe offers good stability and a flexible feel to keep your mind centered during the match. This shoe's upper is constructed with synthetic leather overlays to improve support. They keep your feet locked-in when you're switching directions and chasing down challenging shots. A TRUSSTIC support unit and wrap-up outsole improve stability while allowing your feet to move freely. This lets you change directions more confidently, particularly if you're moving side-to-side.

Cheap version of an Asics shoe - low quality!

Asics makes great tennis shoes, but these are an exception. I probably should have known by the sale price, but they are junk. The logo is printed on, not sewn, and the overall quality of the build stinks. Worst thing, though, is that it doesn't hug my thinner feet like most Asics shoes (that soccer shoe kind of fit), but instead have a wider opening at the ankle that makes you feel less supported on the court. Awful purchase on my part.

Great fit, comfort and price.

Just bought these today in pale gray w/ red and navy trim. Wow, what a comfortable shoe. I consistently wear a 9.5M (except Nikes and Pumas), and these fit like a glove. I think the pale gray uppers and navy sole coverings will help them stay cleaner looking longer than shoes that are mostly white. The insole doesn’t have much of an arch support, but the structure of the uppers provide all I need. There's also totally adequate foot bed cushioning. Thankfully, they aren’t squishy like some shoes I have tried, which I found difficult to balance in. Sometimes a firmer shoe like these actually works better for me.They're very trim looking, so they don't make me feet look like boats as many of the shoes with flared, oversized soles do. The strings do seem a bit too short, but I'm thinking they will stretch over time.My only concern with them is sole durability. Several reviewers complain about premature sole wear, but from what I gather, they use them playing sports that require a lot of foot activity. I will use them as a walking shoe, so I'm hoping the soles will last more than a couple of months.Otherwise, I consider them to be a great shoe at a great price.

Was advised to get Padel shoes as I was playing more and more ... tbh not sure how Padel shoes are different from Tennis shoes.Having said that, I like the shoes. They are very comfortable, provide excellent grip and I can move very well with them. Definitely a big step up from the trainers I used before and for a very reasonable price.

I have worn ASICS shoe most of my adult life. These are the first ASICS shoes that don’t fit! As a matter of fact, every brand of shoes I’ve ever purchased, I have worn the same size. These are the first shoes that didn’t fit me in literally 40 years. In addition to that ASICS charges and re-stocking fee for returns. In today’s website purchasing, why would I want to purchase from this company. I can buy their shoes from Amazon, they do free returns! The last problem I had with this company is shoes are now over two times more expensive then when I purchased them a few days ago,all because their shoes aren’t sized right. I sent their customer service an email about this problem and quickly got an answer that was a complete waste of time. In short it said, we’re ... MoreI have worn ASICS shoe most of my adult life. Right size, wrong fit
13 November 2024

I wanted to replace my Asics Gel-Dedicate 7's which I use for tennis. I'm told the 8's are a simple upgrade from the 7's but I actually found them a little uncomfortable compared to the 7's. I guess it's either a different shape on the upper or it's just a different material. It takes me a long time to find shoes that fit me well and it's a shame manufacturers don't continue the exact same fit from one generation to the next or, even better, continue to produce the same trainer. This would help retain customers as they could be confident on a good fit when purchasing online.

Very narrow compared to previous models
28 June 2024

I have absolutely loved the previous versions of these shoes. I'm a females with short wide feet and have used these shoes for playing netball and were absolutlt perfect. Purchased same size 6.5 online the new 8 model. Very dissappinted it is so much narrower. Feet ached from 2 mins of jogging along the halway. Why change such a good thing.Have worn asics for netball for the past 20 years. I'm also a sports physio and very dissapointed.

One of the most comfortable sports shoes worn in a long while. Although they are advertised as indoor tennis shoes, I was looking for lawn bowls shoes. Perfectly suitable. ASICS manufacturer and sell bowls shoes but not currently available in the United Kingdom. These are a great compromise.

[Rewarded Review] Good shoes at a better price
13 August 2024

I’ve trusted ASICS for my running shoes and they were a natural choice when choosing a pickleball shoe.I do find them a bit narrow for my feet, which is odd because the running shoes fit great. All specs match so not sure why there’s a difference. The price works for me and will deal with the weird fit.

[Rewarded Review] Great All Around Court Shoe
25 June 2024

My son is a power lifter and rugby who’s just started pickle ball. He’s an accomplished table tennis player, and his regular trainers worked for that game. For pickle ball, he needed a shoe that provides more side to side support. This shoe works perfectly. Durable, light and great all around support.

The GEL-DEDICATE 8 PADEL are a true fit to size. They provide great support to the arches of my feet and provide great grip on the court surface. They are the most comfortable court shoes I've ever had and would definitely recommend to anyone considering buying a pair. The price and service from Asics were great and I will be using their website again.
