Solid shoe. A bit stiff so make sure you need this level of stability otherwise you may feel it in longer runs. Heel is also a bit narrow but goes away once broken in. I’d definitely recommend for someone who needs stability or is a stronger or heavier runner.

Tried a pair of these, for sizing, while looking for a new golf shoe. I couldn’t believe they fit so well. Bought these because this Last shape fits my foot perfectly. The bigger toe box works for my feet so nicely, I have 5 more pair of ASICS in different lines.Outstanding comfort
Been an AVID Kayano buyer since Kayano 14's through athletics and to running in m adult life. For the price the quality has dived over the past 3years. My current pair I received at the end of September 2021 and are used as a Gym shoe. The black rubber grips on the bottom of the shoe are completely coming off.
This is a brilliant shoe for comfort/support and striking in appearance. I have been stopped and asked what am I wearing it’s a head turner. A perfect fit, width is excellent. I would highly recommend The Athletes Foot.
Very comfy. Good for both running in or wearing as a daily trainer.Only negative is that the pictures don't show how shiny the asics logos are. I had to sandpaper them to make them less shiny.
Everything wrong with the Kayano 27 has been rectified.If like me , you loved the Kayano 25, then struggled with versions 26 and (for me ), the monumentally abysmal Kayano 27, the Kayano 28 is the right step in redemption for ASICS.After the pain and near injury caused by the Kayano 27s , I spent countless hours scouring the web for new Kayano 25s to replace my old and worn out pair of 25s , I took a last gasp plunge at trying out the Kayano 28 and Yay! We are back in business.Cannot recommend more ( I am gonna have to invest in a spare pair , just in case the Kayano 29s end up being a disappointment).To the guys at ASICS’s “ stay with this formula!!!!”
Comfort and great fit. My feet love them. My body loves the stability. Use them on a daily basis and mostly for walking. Highly recommendable to other women who have come to learn that men’s running shoes are more suitable for them: You love having space around your toes and your body (ankels and knees included) loves the lower-drop that comes with the men’s design. Uplifting colour design with a vibe of harmony and even more beautiful in real.
