The GT-2000s are the best all round gym, running, even netball training shoes on the market. These comfortable shoes slot in perfectly with my light weight running and netball hardcourt shoes.

Been wearing Kayanos for years, always buy the same size (10.5) i barely got my kayano 30 and theses fit small. Will have to return them and order a size 11. I am also not to crazy about the new design, kind of look like the Hoka's. But im willing to overlook that for the comfort I am used to expecting from these shoes.

Great update. I have been running in the Kayano Lite 1 and 2 so this is just like a fantastic version of that shoe. Massive stack height. I like that the foam isn't as soft as Novablast but still pretty responsive. Doesn't necessarily feel like a "supportive" shoe but in a good way. Very stable and love how wide the base of the shoe is. Probably going to be my favorite trainer for the summer. Can't wait to rack up the miles.

I have worn Kayano's now as one of my training shoes since the 90's and looked forward to the revamped model. They feel good putting on and comfortable initially. After about 30 minutes I can feel the inner sole warming, after another 5 minutes it is uncomfortable hot and after another 10 minutes it is unbearable. I have tried them now on three runs and cannot go past that 45 minute mark as the soles of my feet, particularly the heel pad are buring. I'm assuming it is the Gel reacting, perhaps it's a manufacturing fault or a design fault but I know I cannot use these shoes for what was intended.
Fit perfectly in the heel with lots of room in the toe area, great lateral support for those of us that have been running for 44 years, only issue is the outer heel stoke point wears out at 200-250 miles, would like to get 300 for the price but I am a bigger ribboned ( over 225) and have a nerve issue that causes a little drag in my left foot so it causes the premature wear, I have been running in the Kayano since it’s inception. My favorite was the year one and two and year 20, year 20 was a blue and white and was faster than other years. The first 2 years had an additional arch support.
Beautiful Fit , I feel like I am running on clouds
I have been using this shoe for 3 weeks now and they are by far the most comfortable shoe I have owned. Very grateful for this timely investment. The wear and tear of fifty years of running are starting to show up on my hips and knees. My doctors have been telling me to stop running if the pain gets worse. With these shoes, the pain has actually all but disappeared!
Solid shoe with extra wide arches and heel extra stability, your ankle safe ne slip, good stability
I've been wearing Asics footwear for over 10 years, so I'm pretty devoted to the brand. I love the styling and the support they provide for both my walking and running. And since I have plantar fasciitis, I really need excellent arch support and stability.Sadly, I also have wide feet. And as anyone who runs/walks and also has wide feet, you know that footwear manufacturers do NOT cater to this market. Your choices are far and few between. Until recently Asics offered a decent selection of shoes in my size (11 4E). However my last two purchases (Gel-Nimbus 23 and this model, GT-2000 10) are not comfortable right out of the box. They have to be broken-in. Oddly, I didn't have that issue with the Gel-Nimbus 22, so when that model was discontinued, I was hoping that ... MoreI've been wearing Asics footwear for over 10 years, so I'm pretty devoted to the brand. Same with this model. So my advice to my fellow wide-feet runners is to break these in with moderate walks and/or a shoe stretcher, because the last thing you want is to commit yourself to a serious run and your little toes feel tight and cramped against the outside of the toe box.
If your looking for extra wide shoes, look no more. These are so comfortable and light. Width is so perfect. You will not be disappointed
