I've been wearing Asics trainers daily for the last 7 years and these are just like every other pair I've purchased - just perfect! Comfortable, well made and fit great. I've never had any problems with sizing or poor quality. Thank you ASICS for being consistent, reliable and making some great looking trainers.

I previously owned a pair of Gel Quantum 180s and thought these would be similar. Turns out the number is more significant than I thought, these have none of the comfort, support and quality look and finish that comes with the 180s. Thanks to Asics great return policy I was able to return these. If you are considering them spend a little more and go for the 180s, this shoe doesn’t feel like an asics it feels like a budget imitation. You buy ASICS for comfort and function so go for the model that gives you that.

As someone tall with narrow feet, finding shoes that fit is a difficult and frustrating task. Most footwear is just too wide for my feet. I usually end up putting in extra insoles and then causing a whole range of other issues with fit. These shoes fit my narrow feet perfect! No need to tighten the laces too tight just to get them to fit snug or add an insole. I'm buying more of these. Thank you Asics for designing these great shoes and for Tilley's for carrying them!
As a previous user of an Asics Gel Quantum 360 and a Gel Q 180, the expectation I had with the Gel Quantum 90 was much higher than the tennis shoes really is. Although i know it was not a Gel 180 nor a Gel 360, i have been as Asics user for about 15 yrs or so. The front part of the shoes is too loose and does not provide a reasonable stability during my mid to long runs (5-10 miles). Also, the mesh is not as breathable as i have always noticed the Asics are so the temperature inside the shoes get really high and uncomfortable.I will not buy it again.
These shoes are attractive and feel well made, but are incredibly uncomfortable. On my first wearing of about two hours, the arches/soles of my feet were in intense pain after the first hour. After this, I bought an expensive pair of Scholl's inserts to see if they would help, but even those have only partially helped. For years I have wanted to try Asics as a brand, but now I wish I hadn't bothered. I bought a second pair of Asics trainers at the same time (different model). I can only hope that they are designed differently.
I have been buying asics shoes for my kids for many years for their feet, the quality is definitely dropping as years go by and they do not last anywhere near as long. This particular pair of shoes are the worst ones I have ever bought.My son got them late February, wore only 2 to 3x a week max for P.E day at school and just after 3-4 months¹1¹ had completely tore open. As a single parent and the current cost of living I simply cannot afford to replace $100-150 shoes every 4 months. Disappointed in the poor quality of this shoe.
Really good fit and support. Our Asics usually last a good while so hoping so from these too. They are expensive for us on a low income but their endurance and support for an over-pronated foot means they are better value than getting cheaper shoes for my teen son. Also appreciate that they totally black as we use them for his school shoes.

I've been wearing Asics for the last 13 years, almost exlusively for the last 6. The shoes are consistently well made and last a long time. I need a little bit better arch support in my shoes. Asics always delivers.This particular shoe is a little interesting in that it is a little bigger than I expected. I have settled on 9.5 being my size with Asics. And that size has fit consistently in the past the way I expected it to fit. However, the Gel-Quantum 90 fits a little big. Not too much that I would size down to a 9 but they aren't as perfect as the others.
