When I first put in the shoes, I was a little worried they were too tight. I’ve worn these 5 times now for about 2+ hrs each time the shoes have not worked in at all. If I have to play back to back days I can’t wear these the second day or I’ll get a heel blister for sure as your heel slides a lot in these shoes. The shoes fit way bigger then what a normal shoe does 9.5 in most shoes is perfect these fit like a 10-10.5 it’s bad. Will most likely end up having to sell them on FB marketplace at a lose and need to find a better shoe.

I am now on my 6th pair of gel resolution 9’s. They are supportive, comfortable, durable and attractive. I constantly have two pair and go through two pair a year. I began wearing them to play tennis and now use them playing pickleball. They are my go to shoe…until ASICS comes up with something better!
This is a very comfortable shoe. I use this for outdoor pickleball and this shoe performs great. The comfort in the shoes is very good. The outdoor traction is very good. Lateral movement has been very good with great support. This shoe is a snug fit but not overly tight. I am very happy with this shoe!
I bought this because they were recommended not only for their great design, but also that they were a good fit for someone with a narrow foot. I have a 10 B with a high arch. I still have to lease it pretty tight in order to conform to my foot, but I did find that when I added a different insole to support my arch better, it helped take up some space. But overall, as someone who has extreme difficulty finding great footwear that fit my feet and not only look great but play well I would highly recommend this product. Thanks Ascics !
I was gifted a pair of gel-resolution 9 tennis shoes in medium. I can't believe how narrow it was. I was in pain just standing with it on inside my living room. We were able to secure the last wide width in my size. The wide is the same as medium in most of the other shoes I've worn from Adidas to KSwiss. Other than the narrow width, the wide sized shoes are very comfortable specially with my favorite aftermarket insoles. I can play in these shoes all day long and the outer soles look like they could take a beating. I would definitely buy one myself when it's time to replace these. Jut have to make sure I get the wider size.

I went to my local tennis shop and without any bias to colour or brand or price, tried on every single tennis shoe they had (every main brand high end tennis shoe you can think of) and the Gel Resolution 8 just immediately felt amazing. Comfortable and familiar as an athletic shoe but with so much support around the ankle and heel, I absolutely loved them. I am 6'2 with a wider foot and this shoe just felt so so much better than anything else.I transitioned from the 8s to the 9s and can basically feel no difference other than maybe even more support now thanks to the side walls. These are an incredibly comfortable pair of shoes that I really believe have aided my tennis game and helped minimise injuries. I play 2 or 3 matches a week and a practice session or two a week, and the outer sole grip on my 8s and 9s both lasted me about a year.. pushing it by the end but still playable!
I've worn the gel resolutions for the past ten years. My new GR9s have a different shape toe box with the toe more pointed so that the end of the shoe curves away from your big toe. Previous models were more rounded with the longest point more in line with the big toe. A small change but could result in needing a half size bigger. Why would Asics change the last?
I have been wearing Asics for quite a while and have worn the Court FFs and Solution Speeds before this model. I've only been wearing this shoe for a few months and while the soles still had plenty of life,The inside of the heels had completely torn apart. Since I'd never had this problem with ASICs before, I chalked it up to a manufacturing defect. However, when I contacted Customer ServiceIn hopes of addressing the problem, they were unwilling to do anything as they attributed it to "normal wear and tear". So if this is what they consider normal, I would highly recommend not buying these shoes. I have attached 2 photos, one of this shoe and then another of an old pair of Court FFs where the souls are completely worn down the and you can see the stark difference. ...
