Picked these up while hunting for a new shoe for easy run/longer run days. I’m not a fan of highly-stacked shoes, so things like the Novablast haven’t worked for me. I’m a midfoot striker and the Dynablast 3 seems to have hit the spot for me in terms of cushioning and responsiveness. It feels nicely cushioned, but not mushy. The only thing that lets the shoe down from my point of view is the sizing. I’m always a UK size 6.5 in ASICS, but somehow, the shoe just feels a bit big and bulky when I put it on. I can’t tell if it’s longer, or just roomier in the forefoot than I’m used to with ASICS (I have a narrow foot, so the generally narrower fit of ASICS works well for me). I’ve stuck with the 6.5, but I do find I have to tie them pretty tightly to keep the foot secure. The sizing is the only thing I would change about the shoe - just to make it a bit more streamlined. Otherwise, this shoe is perfect and amazing value for money! That said, I would happily pay a bit extra for an improved fit.

I switched to these Dynablast 3 shoes after dissatisfaction with the new Nimbus 25 design. I was pleasantly surprised by their comfort and support. They have a moderate amount of cushion, appropriate room in toe hold, and just-right heel fit. They handle my underpronation very well with high arch support and heel support. They are lightweight and feel light on my feet. They do not have a lot of spring but do provide good cushioning for foot plant and push off. I recently ran a marathon in them and had no foot issues. Recommended.

Comfy!

Very comfortable. The first time wearing it felt like I was walking in a luxury pillow. lol! Of course this wears off quickly but they are still comfy. I didn't give 5 stars because I think the sole is too thick. I seem to have "stutter" steps in these shoes - not quite tripping but not always a smooth stride - which has never happened to me before. It's got to be the high heel because this does not happen in my other Asics that have low/normal heel height. Also, a general note to Asics designers - not all woman want pinks, purples or pastel colors. I'm so jealous of my husband's Asics color choices sometimes.

Glide on the road, don't clomp
9 April 2024

I absolutely love this shoe. I've been a runner for a long time, literally most of my life. (Junior Olympics for track and cross country). Running has always been my outlet and I needed a great road running shoe and this is IT. I always went with the Gel Nimbus but this has me running road hills like a gazelle. Light weight and cushion in the right places while also giving you pretty decent toe box room. I'd like a smidge more in the toe box but that's just my personal preference. I've been gliding.Buy them. You won't regret it.

Good shoes but bad return/exchange policy
24 January 2024

I like that the shoes are great and very light but I got the wrong size, so I tried to request for a change in size. Unfortunately, I was told that Asics do not do exchange; I ended up spending $5 for the return/refund when all I want was just a change in size. I realize it is not good buying Asics online. So I bought another brand online i.e. ON running; it’s free to return and exchange.Your shoes are good, that was actually my first choice since I’m buying this for my birthday but you have to change your policy. In fact, before I ordered Asics online, I went to Nordstrom Rack to try on other Asics style so I can at least know what size to order but to my dismay, the shoes I ordered came out bigger.

Great shoes Terrible tongue
25 June 2024

These are perfect except the tongues have rubbed awful sores on the top of my foot near the ankle. You definitely need a quarter length sock with these but I have a drawer full of no show socks and have never had a problem with other running shoes. I bought these after reading they were a slightly more cushiony Escalante. I’ve had several great 7-13 mile runs in them. But please fix the tongue so I don’t have to buy all new socks!

I find it to be a good shoe.
13 March 2024

I had bought my first pair of ASICS shoes, Gel-Pulse 13, at the end of 2023. I liked them and in early 2024 I bought a second pair of ASICS to replace an uncomfortable pair of 10-year-old Nike Air that was wearable but had no cushioning left. I got Dynablast 3 to try a different variety of ASICS running shoes. The main differences between the two was the tread pattern and the Dynablast 3 has a shamrock-shaped tongue while the Gel-Pulse 13 has a conventional tongue. I find both pairs to be good and to feel good. However, if I were to run through grass and forest, I suspect the Dynablast 3 tongue would suck in more leaves than the Gel-Pulse 13 tongue.

No frills pace
12 May 2023

Purchased with the intention of tempo / interval runs up to 10kNice and lightweight with a firm ride that is ideal for pacey shorter runs. Wouldnt say I feel propelled along, but certainly doesn't hold me back either.Wouldn't turn to this shoe for slower/longer/recovery runs which I don't think it was designed for anyway so that isn't a criticism, just an observation/opinion.ASICS seem to be leaning toward a slightly narrower toe box and this shoe does feel snug compared to my cumulus 24 and fuji lite shoes (all 8.5uk). This doesn't mean it's uncomfortable, but took a couple runs to feel right around the toes.No issues with heel slippage even when really upping pace/sprinting.Colourway of dark blue and orange is pretty sexy.

Poor customer service
22 May 2024

I purchased from Asics because I have been using Asics running shoes exclusively for over 10 years and because the shipping estimate was reasonable (when you need new shoes, faster shipping is a big consideration). When shipping was delayed, I asked customer service for a refund on shipping, but received a passive aggressive email full of excuses. This tells you how Asics values long-time, devoted customers. This is also the last pair of Asics shoes I will buy. The shoes are about what you would expect if you are used to Asics shoes, but I found the laces oddly short.

Ridiculously long tongues
9 November 2023

I was a long term customer of Asics. I'm an avid running and have always loved Asics however I will never purchase another pair of running shoes from Asics again. First off these Dynablast 3's have the longest tongues I've ever seen on a pair of running shoes. I tried them on and immediately put them back in the box to return. The tongues actually hit my legs! There's no way I could run miles in these shoes. To further add to my disappointment, I called customer service and when I asked what would be a good shoe to purchase instead, the off-shore customer service calling company couldn't answer my question and put me on hold. I waited 20 minutes before I hung up. When I called back with my distaste, they couldn't help and said I could return the shoes but would be ... MoreI was a long term customer of Asics. This is unheard of with any of the reputable running shoe companies. ALL of them have a policy where you can try a shoe for 90 days and return them with no fees. In this case, I didn't even use them! RIDICULOUS! I sent a letter and emailed Asics but they refuse to refund that restocking fee. I've moved onto Brooks and love my new Brooks Ghosts. See ya Asics.
