These shoes are very comfortable with a wider than average toe box that I need for my foot issues. They are a golf version of a running shoe and waterproof. Plenty of cushion and traction. I only wish they made the wide version in black since the light color makes my size 13W look even bigger. Great shoe!

Pretty disappointed with the quality from ASICS on the Kayano ace 1. The grey has discoloured and heels have been worn through within 18months. I play golf once per week so you would expect these to go the mile. I reached out to ASICS and showed them which ended up back in my face because I was outside the warranty period.I’ve been running in Kayano for over ten years but now I’m moving to under armour golf shoes as a result.Wouldn’t recommend Kayano ace.

I wore these shoes straight out of the box and they were immediately comfortable. They are the 1st pair of golf shoes that , after walking 18 holes, left my feet and legs feeling like it was a stroll around the block. Maximum grip , with a light weight to them which is another feature. I was sold on the running version, now sold on the Golf version as well. I highly recommend these shoes to golfers of any standard
I have only worn Gel-Kayano running shoes for at least a decade now and have always loved them. I was really hoping I would love these too, but one of the things I liked about the Course Glide was how breathable and cool they were. I felt like my feet were immediately in a steam room once I started playing in these. I understand that many people want waterproof/water resistant, but it’s weird that you stopped making your 1 pair of breathable shoes and replaced it with 3 styles of non-breathable shoes. You really should have kept at least 1 pair of breathable shoes.
Shoe is water resistant except the tongue it will go through. Thought the shoe would be lighter than is. I did slip a few times then again these shoes are spike-less. I expected a better feel like your running shoes but this is not the case. Back to wearing your walking shoes on the course.
I have two other pairs of ASICS golf shoes and decided I needed a new Christmas pair. These new GEL-KAYANO ACE2 shoes are everything they promised. Wore them for the first time yesterday and they were so comfortable. Great fit, comfortable walking and keeps everything nicely in place throughout the swing twisting and turning!
I've had these shoes for about a month and I'm completely sold. I walk several rounds a week and these are the most comfortable shoes I have tried. I have a Morton's neuroma on my right foot and typically wear orthotics in my shoes. With these golf shoes, my feet feel great without the orthotics. They are the first spikeless golf shoes I've worn and I have noticed no loss of traction or stability versus spiked shoes.
Good shoes if you have wide feet. I got these for the wide fit. I wouldn't have minded these being a bit wider as I have really wide feet (I normally wear the Extra Wide fits in the Asic walkers, but it is only Wide for the golf shoes here). But it was just wide enough. Perhaps a little snug. Once broken in during a round, I totally forgot about the snugness. My first spikeless golf shoes, so it was interesting how the sole is thicker than my other trainers. That extra height in the sole was enough to change my draw to a fade/slice. So practice in the new shoes at the range first and adjust your swing if needed. I played one round in the rain, and my feet still got wet because the tongue of the shoe is not waterproof.
I purchased my second pair recently - the first one lastest 18months playing 2-3 times a week and really only replaced them becuase they finally started to look average and the inner heal material had worn. this is a really great golf shoe - excellent comfort as you expect from asics and waterproof without getting too hot. good arch support and grip - highly recommended.
