ASICS | Womens GT-2000 10 (Black/White) 7.5
Product Details The GT-2000 10 running shoe is specially designed to provide runners with lasting comfort and support for the full duration of their running workout – from first kilometre to the last as they uplift their mind. The Litetruss technology is a pivotal component of the GT-2000 10, delivering reliable stability across the midfoot and medial side of the shoe for a more efficient toe-off while aiming to prevent any excessive inward roll of the foot at mid-stance. This combines with its responsive and durable Flytefoam Propel midsole to provide the runner with a softer, more responsive, but supportive feel every step of the way on their uplift journey. Other key features of the shoe include a breathable lightweight knit on the upper, offering excellent airflow and comfort for the wearer. In the rear foot area, Gel technology provides extra cushioning and increased shock absorption.

I've been wearing this model of ASICS running shoes about 25 years and am always impressed with the fact I can literally wear them right out of the box, with zero break-in period. I didn't realize this version has an 8mm drop instead of 10mm until I wore them outside and realized they felt different. Would highly recommend anyone who is loyal to this model, try them indoors first. I'm also a small size 7 and probably could have gotten away with a 6.5 in these. Expensive mistake on my part.

I have never worn Asics because they fit narrow so when I saw they made D width I ordered the wide. Despite looking narrow, they didn't hurt my bunion because the material is forgiving. BUT they squeeze the outside of my foot so it aches. I even wore thin socks and tied the laces as loose as possible. I tried walking in them with a different insole but then the heal slipped because it's not very high. Second complaint - although they are light they make an audible slapping noise when I run as if I'm running flat footed and not rolling enough (that has never happened with my previous running shoes).

I have been wearing these same shoes, same size, for many years and was happy. This last pair, will be the last as they are not close to the same shoe in support or quality. The toe box is different, and the material is extremely thin. I bought the last pair on line, and with less than 350 k, both shoes have sizable holes that have worn through the top of each shoe, by my big toe. I have a closet full of old pairs that the sole is worn and broken down, but the top looks almost perfect. I should mention i am not doing any hillwork as havent been training for anything specific. Thank goodness, can't imagine what hill work would have done to them.

I have narrow feet and was looking for a shoe that would hold my narrow heels in when walking / running. These shoes provide the perfect amount of support for me when running and are extremely comfortable right out of the box.I did notice my socks started wearing out much faster than normal in the upper heel shortly after I started using them. I am usually able to use my shoes for well over a year before they start wearing out. These did not wear out in the usual way. After about 8 months of low mileage running the inner material by the upper heels has started to disintegrate. I expect to get more usage out of my shoes and prefer my shoes not to wear out my socks. They are still the most comfortable shoe I could find after trying many, however. I just wish Asics ... MoreI have narrow feet and was looking for a shoe that would hold my narrow heels in when walking / running. My individual experience: I wanted a 12.5 medium women's GT2000 9 but that size was sold out. I ordered GT2000 9 12 and it was small. After talking with customer care, I ordered GT2000 10 in 13 wide. What arrived fit loose, baggy and longer than version 9. You can see in the photos that there is too much fabric, like when I raise my toes, there is still loose fabric (the shoe doesn't move with your stride). It fits over 2 finger widths too long. Asics accepted the return, but won't refund the original form of payment. It fits so radically different than the version 8 and 9 that you would think exchanges would be allowed. The product is unwearable. I will email customer service a picture. The product: Order one size down. Bulky sole. No plastic pronation support.
The vibrant Pink colour was the main reason for my purchase. These runners made for a perfect gift for my wife. We removed the insoles from the runners and slipped in her orthotics insoles primarily to adjust that drop they mention in the specifications of the shoe. These shoes were designed for running not for someone who heal strikes when the foot touches down. Theses GT-2000 Lite-Show Running Shoes - Women’s are visually aesthetically pleasing. If you like to run and dance like Cinderella then it’s time to slip on a pair of these runners with room in the toebox and a fit so comfortable she could walk all day in them. Happy trails Big D
Got these in an attempt to find the perfect running shoe as I recently started long distance running. They aren't anything amazing but also not bad. They do sit much lower than my preference: Adidas Solarglides & Solarboosts. However, they are extremely lightweight & are perfect for track or "soft" running. If you are bother by the infamous adidas ankle rub, these are your shoes. Also, they are true to size and medium width with enough room in toebox to wiggle and even slightly "stretch" your toes.
I took my daughter to the store to get fitted with shoes and custom inserts. She plays sports and has ankle issues. After 3 months, these were starting to fall apart, so I figured it was from daily wear. Ordered another pair so she would have a fresh pair for the new sports season. Not even 3 weeks in and they started falling apart. Just like the older ones. We are talking flaps of material coming apart on the bottom of the shoe. How is that even safe?!? So frustrated!!! I will never buy another pair of ASICS!
This is my new go-to gym and running shoe. Firm underfoot but with just enough cushioning to protect my feet while not being so cushioned that stability starts to become an issue. Good all rounder for lifting to running. I have a wide foot with an high instep and the regular fitting fits well for me. I also love the comfortable heel counter that doesn’t run in my usual trouble spots. I’ll be buying other colours in the model.
This shoe is the closest available ASSIC. It is beautifully fitted to the width of my foot. However, the depth at the heal is not as deep as I require for my podiatrist’s arch support inserts. As the GT2000 cross trainer has been discontinued, a sufficiently deep heel is no longer available. I will have to take these shoes to a cobbler and have the heal refitted. But I will still come back next time, to athletes foot, and buy my next pair when these ware out.
