The b580 has excellent performance for its value. However, since i bought it, this card has increased in value twice when it started at £259.99. The other issue is that driver support currently is still poor, especially as it causes problems in some games. I have experienced crashes on some games, and on others massive stuttering problems caused by cpu overhead problems. I did actually notice however that the card ran better after closing discord. I know discord has been known to cause cpu usage problems, but to the extent ive seen on this card, I doubt that is the only reason. For anyone unsure whether to go the intel route I'd suggest firstly waiting for the prices to go back towards msrp. A 250-300 chf card at almost 400 chf is insane
Like Linus said in a recent video he is annoyed like I am that the price of this card has increased even when you guys have it still on pre-order it has increased around £20 since y ou first listed it, he was mainly on about manufacturers who are charging more for a different cooler and not retailers like yourself. We also have scalpers trying to sell the Intel version of this budget card for upto £100 more than it's release price of £250.
I had a GTX1660 and was sceptical of the Intel Battle Mage series, but I'm glad I did buy it. I run triple 1440p monitors with a single Ultra wide 1440p for gaming. The card performs excellent. Beyond my expectations.
I had to change out my old 1080ti. Wow what a difference. Considering I paid twice as much 7 years ago for the 1080ti this is a SMASHING DEAL!
