Astell&Kern A&ultima SP3000 Digital Audio Player Black
The innovative design of the hexa-audio circuit with four AK4499EX DACs plus two separate AK4191EQ DACs produces a sound of unique purity. The advanced construction with six DACs reduces the noise of the incoming digital signal in a flagrant manner and results in an impressive signal/bruit ratio of 130 dB, which is reflected in an unprecedented sonic experience. The SP3000's operating system is based on Android and supports the use of streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify and Apple Music. The immense selection of music from the streaming services can thus be listened to directly on the SP3000 from Astell via WiFi. The new user interface developed for the SP3000 focuses on conviviality and makes listening to and researching music a pure pleasure. The cabinet is made of stainless steel 904L exclusif, which makes the SP3000 a luxurious product. The stainless steel 904L possesses a beauty without compromise and a durability and resistance to corrosion that are particularly high for a lasting enjoyment of the merveilleux sound of the SP3000.

Have history with Astell & KernStarted with the AK Junior then moved to the AR25 (still a fabulous DAP for the money, sound, battery life and portability) followed by The Kann Alpha (better Bluetooth and WiFi marginally better sound + great facility having a 4mm socket thus driving headphones (started with Æon 2 Noire) compromise with slightly more bulk and less battery life than the AR25 but after a good day at the races went for broke and the SP3000Having been blown away by the HUGE improvements to the GUI and general ease of use and not having to go through the rigmarole of APK to install Qobuz etc., it has taken a while to realise the REAL difference to my old players in the overall listening experience AWESOME -Also highly delighted I went the whole nine ... Having tried the Polaris with the SP3000 they can sound a little muddy in comparison to the Valkyries. All in all the whole pairing of the Valkyries with the SP300 gives me a TREMENDOUS listening experience. I would add that also goes for the Dorado 2020 and older Andromedas. Finally do bear in mind that with kit this technically advanced it can show up deficiencies in the sources material.Service and efficiency from Richard as ever top notch.

I purchased the SP-3000 last November to replace my SP-1000 and had been enjoying it immensely until I ran into an issue with the adapter. Fortunately, Headphone Bar was ready and able yesterday to send me a replacement and it was delivered by courier from Vancouver to Victoria today and is working perfectly. First-rate service for a first-rate product

I was using the Astell&Kern SP2000 satisfactorily, but the day I met the SP3000, I felt a new world.
Love this new TOTL DAP from A & K. Surpasses my SE180.As usual Addicted very prompt with delivery & a pleasure to do business with. Appreciated the large box it was packed in, a good way to ensure it doesn’t get lost in the mail!
This is my second DAP. Am not into headphone gear but my passions lies in car audio. So the DAPs I buy are being used as source in my car audio.. before this I had used ibasso dx320 and this updgrade blew me away. The first thing to stand out is the width and depth.. yes.. even though the width in a car audio environment is restricted by driver placements, the Sp3k made the width wider as if I felt the sounds coming from my rear view mirrors..And VELVET AKM the vocals almost melt very nicely into the other music and is such a pleasure to listen to.And as always, a big shout out to headphonezone.. always was, is and will be a pleasure being a customer
Smooth and responsive OS. Amazing sound. Powerful enough for almost any IEMs and headphones. Pairing it with the Empire Ears Odin, it is like a great holiday on the Sun for my ears everyday.
Very good DAP. Good resolution and tonality.
