I'm back in business with my favorite microphone again!

The materials are of exceptional quality and the shock mount design is impressively easy to use and versatile.The pop filter design is one of the best I've ever seen. It's easily removed and reinstalled on the shock mount based on your needs. And as a pop filter is both acoustically transparent but stops any the most 'determined' of plosives dead in their tracks!It is a bit on the pricier side for a shock mount with included pop filter but, if you want to spend a bit more dosh to get a piece of quality gear, I can't recommend the Ashton Swiftshield enough!

An elegant, quality shockmount and pop filter but disappointing... Not exactly a cheap ancillary / accessory, very good shockmount isolation but can barely hold an Aston Spirit which slips down until it is just stopped from falling through by the switches, which it then rests on - pop shield is only then at the right height for the capsule at that point anyway though! Hmmm!
This is a new product by Aston Microphone company. I purchased because their NAMM Youtube video said it would hold most any mic that could fit into the clamp. It would not hold a Rode NT2A, which is not a really heavy mic. The mic would slip and not hold tightly. I think the design is very admirable, but the engineering should be looked at again by Aston. The clamp is not very strong. If they were to redesign the clamp and make it stronger, then I would feel comfortable putting a mic in it. As of now, this product is going to be returned.
This was super easy to assemble, and although initially I was a little miffed by the pop shield not being at all movable once attached, having done a session with a droopy goose neck earlier today, I'm retracting those prior misgivings. You can still get proximity to the mic without the shield being moveable, just takes a little experimentation to find the sweet spot. The shock mount provides excellent isolation paired up with a scissor style boom arm and a couple of cable ties.
Looks way better in real than on a photo. Does amazing job at getting rid of all the pops and makes the recording sound more professional right away. The anti shock reduces the effects of accidentally bumping the stand etc. Perfect and super easy to mount. Way easier than competitors and not flimsy at all.
The shock absorption is better than any other microphone shock mount I own and is well worth the money. However, using it with the spirit microphone. I wish the grips were ever so slightly tighter as the microphone slides down into almost a fixed position. This is fine and the microphone doesn't drop out. I just thought the microphone wouldn't slide in its own mount, don't let this put you off though it's a great mount.The pop shield is also great and doesn't affect or cut out as much low end as a fabric pop shield whilst still defusing the plosives well.I'm really happy I bought this and use it on all kinds of microphones daily. It also looks amazing and feels durable but it's not something I would like to stand on, as I wouldn't with any shock mount.
I was looking for a universal shockmount for a fairly heavy tube mic. I bought this as it looks like a great product. The design is cool. I liked the way the pop shield snaps on and off. But unfortunately, I should have read more online reviews. The mechanism that is supposed to hold the mic is it's weakness. And my mic would slide out of the grip of the clamp every time. Seems to be a major problem with this product.
