Each capsule of Astrix 100 contains 100mg of asprin in the form of enteric coated, controlled release pellets. Blister packed for your protection. Astrix 100 contains wheat starch this contains gluten. Pharmacy medicine. Each Capsule Contains: Asprin 100mg. Indications This pack of Astrix 100 contains sufficient capsules for 12 weeks treatment. Astrix 100 capsules are conveniently blister-packed in platforms, of 14 2 weeks treatment. Each capsule is labelled for a given day of the week. Start by selecting 1 platform, and taking that capsule which corresponds with that day of the week. Follow the arrows around the platform until you have used up the 2 week supply, then proceed to another platform. For further convenience, the platforms may be separated into two 7 day packs. For information for patients please refer to inside of carton. Dosage Adult - 1 capsule daily for inhibition of platelet appregation with at least 100ml of water. Astrix 100 should preferably be taken at about the same time each day. If 1 or 2 days are missed, skip the missed capsules and proceed to the appropriate capsule for that day. On completion of 12 weeks treatment you should commence a new pack immediately. Continue treatment indefinitely unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Warnings Astrix 100 is intended for long term treatment and should not be taken as an analgesic for the relief of minor or temporary ailments. Consult a doctor before giving this medicine to children or teenagers with chicken pox, influenza or fever. Asthmatics and other people who are allergic to aspirin should not take astrix 100.
