The motherboard or mainboard is the component that connects all the different parts of your computer. Often it has some integrated components like a sound card, enabling your computer to play sound, or a network card, to connect your computer to the network. The standard form factor (size) for motherboards is ATX, you need at least a midi-tower to fit one of those in. Micro-ATX motherboards are often more complete and have more onboard devices, like a video board and fit in smaller cases, but are generally less expandable.

I ordered 2 of this motherboard. 1st one - USB controller issue. When PC turned on, it shows to connect Keyboard in order to proceed. I tried 3 keyboards (Wired & Wireless) to plug in different USB ports (both front and back), no luck. Motherboard USB controller issue confirmed. 2nd one - LAN controller issue. I got windows installed, and tried to download drivers from website. The LAN speed was super slow (10-50kbps). Switched to WIFI speed backed to normal. Connected LAN to 1gbps port of my router, speed was normal. Connected LAN back to my 2.5gbps switch, LAN was dead. I-226V doesn't seem to like 2.5G based on my research and a lot of people have experienced different issues. Conclusion - I give up using this B760i and go for B660i which has lower memory ... MoreI ordered 2 of this motherboard. 1st one - USB controller issue. Ram Slot 1 did not work at all. For a new board it is unacceptable.

Solid board for the price, and supports higher ram speeds than the about equivalently price ASRock Z790M-ITX WIFI. If you're not planning on OCing the CPU, it's a good choice. It has 2 m.2 slots (x3 and x4) and comes with standoffs for smaller sized ones if you need it. Remember to take the tape off, and mount them before you put on your cooler.Note it only has 1 case fan header, 1 CPU fan header, and 1 AIO header, so if you have multiple case fans you're going to need a splitter. It was a bit snug getting my EVGA 3060ti to fit against the IO area, and it took a bit of pushing. Not the biggest fan of that and even just an extra 2 mm could've take a lot of that tension out.I appreciate that this board isn't slathered in RGB. Not everyone needs the aurora inside ... MoreSolid board for the price, and supports higher ram speeds than the about equivalently price ASRock Z790M-ITX WIFI.
