We used it to cover about 10 folks seated at a conference table, and it did it pretty well, mounted on a tripod, which it has a mount thread for. The picture is crystal-clear on Zoom. Can't speak to the microphone coverage, as we used a separate external mic to cover folks further away. I'd buy this again, for sure.

Great working web camera for the money! Full viewing of room, good clarity, no glitches. Super easy installation, plug and use instantly. So far so good. If your on budget, this is a nice quality to buy.

This could be because my lights are a warmer tint - but overall it's a bad look and even the cheapest Logitech webcam does better at white balancing. Using OBS I was able to adjust some settings, such as the white balance, but the white balancing controls are so bad, I believe it's just tinting the feed... What baffles me more is that when toggling the auto white balance back on, it makes the feed even more blue than what I could even set at the lowest! I'm not sure if this was an OBS limitation or not, there is no control software or custom drivers available for this device from ASUS. One thing I really liked though was how it performed in low light. On a typical night I will have some RGB lights pretty low, and a desk lamp to the side that only casts a sidelight on my face. With this camera, I was completely visible in a good capacity (given that it was somewhat grainy - but with how well it was lighting up me and the area it is acceptable). This also included decent color reproduction as well! One con of it though is that if you have any bright lights on your face (like a ring light), it will not adjust to make sure your face is in focus, it will simply leave your face overexposed. Otherwise, with very specific nitpicks, the resolution of the feed is good. 1080p at 30fps is more than enough for most users of this device. I do not like how wide the field of view (FOV) of the camera is, I didn't realize that this was meant to have such a wide FOV before purchasing. To each their own if the wide FOV is good or not, I don't like having the entire room behind me visible while using my camera. The tilting of the camera was nice, and worked exactly as expected with full tilt motion. I didn't test the microphone as I use my dedicated microphone instead. Also opening the box it had a very weird smell, I want to say it was like a chemical smell, and it was not pleasant. I wanted to like this camera, but for a little under $40 it did not meet my expectations & I'll most likely be returning this.
I purchased this particular webcam because I needed something with a wide viewing angle. It did not disappoint. Quality of the video stream is excellent. As with almost all webcams, the built-in mic sucks, so I used a separate Blue Yeti and I got a great quality experience.
It was okay - it was better than many in sharpness but not great in colors. The mic was better than most webcams but that is not a great positive as like all webcams it is pretty poor, so might as well not worry about comparing any of them.
I used this on macOS to replace my Logitech C615. I found the image quality was not what I was looking for. The image quality was washed out and grainy. Dark browns like wood or my hair had no definition and eyes looked very dark. I tried using more light in the room, shining light on my face, but it didn't help much. Maybe if I was in direct sunlight it would be almost okay. I tried using a 3rd party app to adjust the Gamma, White Balance, Saturation, Contrast, Brightness, but it didn't help. Unlike for my Logitech, there is no official app or support to adjust. On my Logitech camera I can clearly see my hair and eye color. We sit 30 from our 32 screen and with the webcam sitting [the only logical place] above the screen, the size of our heads is about 2 inches on a zoom or skype meeting screen. Without the ability to zoom in [change the effective distance] - suggest one looks for a much more useful and 'zoomable lens' product. Also not nearly as good a quality of picture as in most recent laptop builtin cameras. Sending it back highly disappointed.
Not sure if mine is a flawed one. the camera works well on usb 3.0 port, but it keeps flashing on usb 2.0 port. I googled the condition and found nothing. In asus website, just says USB-A. really confused.
