Had it for 2 weeks. The battery drained way too much when not in use, but by going to settings and changing power mode from "sleep" to "hibernate" when shut/power button pressed it helped a ton. Otherwise the laptop is great: it starts quickly, loads quickly, and can handle multiple running applications - I have yet to reach its max. The sound/graphics aren't the greatest in the world, but they're nowhere near as bad as I've seen described in some reviews.

My first Asus and I wasn't sure I'd like the transition, but the laptop is quite adequate. The specs stated it had a 10 key number pad, but the images displayed did not make it clear that it was a pseudo 10-key which can be turned on in the touch pad area. It's taking me a while to get used to not having the 10 key physical pad, but apart from that, I'm quite pleased with the laptop.

I had no issue with speakers whatsoever and dts software adds more depth and loudness. FHD display is great, unlike other laptops the IPS LED screen is perfect for reading texts and documents, and almost always I set it on the lowest brightness since I work indoor. It's fast SSD and the combination of 16GB and 1165g7 provides a more reasonable performance on this model comparing to 32gb. In comparison with LG gram, I prefer my ASUS expertbook due to faster SSD, presence detection, TPM and security features, the anti glare matt display is definitely better for me comparing the blinding glare from gorilla glass on LG. in comparison with Thinkpad NANO X1, this ASUS computer has better specs. I could buy the highest model of the NANO X1 for 110 dollars cheaper thanks to my company perks, but I didn't want to settle with the slower 2242 SSD, and 45 Wh battery and that motherboard design in LENOVO. Overall build quality of this laptop and the speedy operations is very promising. the keyboard also has a good amount of travel. with the Ryzen 5900H and also Ryzen mobile 5800 in horizon the intel chip might sound weak, but considering the thermal envelope and having access to Thunderbolt 3.1, USB-A 3.2, and HDMI 2.0,, DDR4x high speed RAM, and a better power consumption and albeit the portability I prefer this product over all other options including M1 Macbook pro 16gb, 1TB with a similar price(with discount).

This laptop does one thing amazingly well, and everything else it does above average. If you are not a "power user" then all you need to know is that this is the perfect laptop for someone who needs a bit of power in their laptop but doesn't want to sacrifice battery life to get it. For "power user's like me" - The battery life on this laptop is amazing. The 65W battery doesn't sound like a lot (compared to the 80+W batteries in other laptops) but it runs amazingly. My guess is that because this doesn't have a dedicated GPU there is a lot less overhead compared to some other high power machines. That's not to say this computer isn't fast, its more than fast enough for me to run some of my computational work at a single core speed comparable to my 2017 custom built ... MoreThis laptop does one thing amazingly well, and everything else it does above average. That's not to say this computer isn't fast, its more than fast enough for me to run some of my computational work at a single core speed comparable to my 2017 custom built desktop! (and it's multicore speed it pretty solid too) The keyboard is nice, the light up touchpad is more of a gimmick than actually useful, and the display is nice. This laptop is also very easy to take apart and has a second m.2 slot in it! Perfect if you want to dual boot, setup 2 drives in a RAID array, or you just want an extra drive for your data.
Nice to able to have Windows 10. A bit slower to start up than my previous computer which is an i7, but that is minor. A bit annoying as mentioned in other reviews, the number keypad is too small and cramped, and while tempting to use, the dot is not in an intuitive place to use with any speed or accuracy. Better off just plugging in a separate keyboard if you want to use a number pad, and not having it.
This is my third ASUS. I am so happy with the functionalities and qualities of the previous two ASUS laptops. The 3rd one looks really good and great value. My initial impression after using it is really good, nice feathers; touchpad and control panel, etc.
So far I love this computer! So light weight you'd think it's just a basic laptop - for a kid. But underneath the hood is a powerful computer that is fast and does everything I need it to and then some. I still haven't been able to push it to its limit. That being said I do have some issues with the one I purchased, namely battery life. One of the reasons I purchased this particular model was the reported 20+ hours worth of battery life, but so far the best I've been able to get out of it is 11 hours, and that with battery saver on, display turned down, all un-needed apps closed - basically with nothing running but the computer itself. And when charging it gets uncomfortably hot. So I did contact ASUS and they gave me a return ticket under warranty, no muss, no ... MoreSo far I love this computer! Bad thing is I use this for business and I'll be without a computer until a replacement comes in as it's a special order at Best Buy. Also wish it had a full number pad and touchscreen.
This is my expriece after 1 year! I wish the screen was touch screen. The screen has a dull look to it unless the brightness is up. Once the battery runs low the laptops wifi disconnects and wont connect back to wifi unless you plug it back in. EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT!!! The size and feel of the laptop is great. It has like a wider feel to it instead of a tall feel like traditional laptops. The body is made of a nice matte blue material, its light weight and easy to cary/handle. The keyboard feels nice, The mouse pad is slightly to big. You cant hold this laptop in the air with one hand and control the mouse pad. the mouse pad will not work. because plastic bends and the long mouspad is part of that bend. The face deteaction worked great after updating the drive, ... MoreThis is my expriece after 1 year! I wish the screen was touch screen. The screen has a dull look to it unless the brightness is up. The face deteaction worked great after updating the drive, the fingerprint scanner also worked great. I would stay away from upgrading to Windows 11 because its the tablet version of Windows. Windows 11 destroyed my love for this laptop. Luckly I picked up the 3 year service plan on it. I used the laptop for coding, which it worked great for. I thibk it would work for gaming but the screen is kinda dull. 4 Stars, This laptop should be 1400, not 2000. Little overpriced. I guess its for the 2 tb ssd....This is split into a 761 gb ssd drive and 1.11 TB ssd drive.
This is first month of the laptop and I have not regretted it. It has an amazing battery life and its powerful. Its slim and light but fulfills all purpose. I have so much demanding softwares but the laptop has not failed to handle the graphics.
I have had my ASUS for almost a month now and I am completely surprised with what I have been able to do on it. I was originally purchased my ASUS for my college programming classes and I have been able to use it for that and more. I has allowed for an easy transition when writing and running scripts and applications as well as having the storage I need for downloading the tools needed for classes. The beauty of the ASUS is the screen resolution and the speed of the processor. I actually didn't think it would be as efficient as it is and I absolutely am in love with it! So much so that I am already looking to purchase one for gaming!
