The Asus GTX1650 graphics card was my choice to upgrade a Dell desktop. I found it to be the best choice considering cost, performance, budget and technical. Other than a tight fit in a mini-tower, the GTX1650 performs above my expectations. I can confidently recommend this product.

The GPU offers an excellent performance. The games I used to play run on high/max graph settings with this card. ASUS offers a nice windows app to do some limited settings, overclocking, etc. The GPU fans is very very silent, bu even though with about 100% utilization its temperature does not exceed 70 C.

It's good if it works. I never gamed on it, and I didn't abuse it. I use it lightly and it died today. UPDATE 11/23/2020 (few weeks after leaving my 2 star review): The RMA process went okay. I received a replacement unit which might be a refurbished unit, however, I am not experiencing any issues so far. The RMA process took only a few days after they received my dead GTX 1650. I did have to pay the price of shipping from FL to Indiana and extra for a box made for fragile items (I used UPS), however, it was either that or throw out the entire unit. Luckily I didn't get any issues from the ASUS repair center from the location. Keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts at least a few more years. UPDATE 11/24/2020 (IT DIED AGAIN TODAY. WOOOOW. I've long respected the reputation of Asus products. I was confident that purchasing the Asus GTX 1650 graphics card from Amazon would result in a very good experience, however the experience was anything but. After troubleshooting possible causes for the blank screen, I called tech support at both Asus and Amazon. After spending considerable time explaining the problem it was determined the card was defective. Fortunately, I had no problem returning the card to Amazon for a full refund, but adding insult to injury, within weeks after returning the video card, prices skyrocketed prohibitively.
This was a step up from my previous graphics card. I was a little disappointed when playing some newer games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare because the suggested graphics settings are low. I have to push the card just to get it in medium settings. That being said it runs most of my games very well. But in hindsight I wish I had gone with an AMD RX 580 8 GB. It would have only been a bit more money but a much more powerful card.
I bought this to replace my 3GB GTX 1050 because I wanted the best 75W no-connector card available for Flight Simulator and eventually Cyberpunk. As expected, in benchmarks about 50% better than my 1050, and seems to maintain slightly cooler temperatures. For my purposes, it's as good as I hoped, with much more stable framerates in Outer Worlds at high settings, rock-solid FPS in Overwatch, and even Flight Simulator playable at 25 FPS or so at high settings. (All games at 1680x1050.) A note about the build quality: I've never had an ASUS card before but it seems very well-made so far. It looks fantastic, and the shroud is actually a bit thinner than two slots (even though the bracket is two), making a very comfortable fit in my machine even though there's a sound ... Bought this for my wife's computer and what a difference ! OK normal screen looks the same, but when doing photo editing it makes such a great difference. The wife is very happy with it.
I didn't need a lot of power. But I didn't want to have to buy anything else down the road. I chose this card as middle ground. A bit pricey, but all video cards are a bit pricey right now. Plugged it in and set it up. Everything works great.
The GPU worked great for about 2 months then when it was any load the GPU fans would go max speed and the screen would lose connection and it would stay that way until I reset the computer. I sent it in for RMA since I tried any other GPU and had no problems even when pushing it to the limit. After I got it back from the RMA it worked fine for another 2/3 months until the same problem arose. I then once again had to send it in for RMA in which I just got it back and it had the same problem immediately. I now have to resort to buying a hugely up-priced gpu because of this. So if you buy from Asus beware if you have a problem their RMA will do NOTHING.
My old Radeon HD 6850 died after ten years. Somehow got this on Newegg for $220 in August 2021. Totally worth it for a relatively new mid-grade GPU model that doesnt break the bank. Much smaller, quieter, cooler, and less power hungry than my old card. Newer games play well.
