Gaming performance at 1440p is excellent without DLSS enabled. 4K is great for a large number of titles, but newer AAA will require DLSS choice or just lower the quality settings. Quiet and cool running. Highly recommend.

A quite powerful processor that scores around eleven million points a day doing Folding@Home FahCore work units. Runs cool enough, around 60C at 100% usage in an open case.Makes about 4 times the GPU computing points as the RTX 2080 it replaced using considerably less power.This 4070S scores nearly as high as models that cost hundreds more so it was the "sweet spot" for me.

This is a great card overrall, runs all the ganes I play on ultra 1440p with DLSS. Games like Space Marine 2 and cyberpunk run practically flawlessly. However this card only has 12 GBs of VRAM, so higher resolution games may need to have their textures turned down in the near future, but for 1440p and 4k in 2024, its great!

Good performance for a card at that price. But, the card will run hotter than a 3 fan card setup. The operating temperatures may be fine, but it may run a little warm. This card is about 15% faster than the previous king of gpu's the 3090. But , this does not cost $1499 msrp.
An excellent, ultra-compact 4070 Super. Runs cool and quiet in my otherwise air-restrictive case (HP Omen 30L). I think this happens because the heatsink fins run parallel (horizontal) with the card's pcie connector, thus pushing hot air out the back of the card (the HDMI, DisplayPort side). Less hot air is being exhausted into the case. Yet somehow it stays quite cool and nearly noise-free. It's an excellent design.
Its a decent card. Running games on 1280x1080. It runs it on ultra for the more part depending pretty consisntently 60-240 frames however the more demanding games like star wars outlaws can cause it to dip in certain areas to the 30-40 frames. For more demanding games you may want a 4080 at least
When it worked 5/5. It's probably the best value GPU of the 4000 series. But after 2 weeks of having it, randomly started constantly disconnecting and making my pc blue screen of death. Reverting back to older drivers didn't work either. Will be taking it into geeksquad later to see what is up with it and if it's just faulty or something on my end.
Extremely loud, extremely hot, got artifacts after using the "quiet" BIOs. I thought this card would be quiet but it is one of the loudest cards I've ever owned. Looked at temperatures and hotspot temps are always at 99-101c. I ended up getting grey artifacts after an hour of Baldur's Gate 3 the first time using the quiet BIOs. I wish I could exchange it for a 3 fan MSI Gaming OC but I wasn't aware of Best Buy's short return window which is just 15 days.
This card is able to handle any game I throw at it with no issues. Starfield, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Assassin’s Creed, Forza, and Call of Duty are able to run in 4K with higher quality settings. This ASUS GPU was very user-friendly and easy to install. The card was not flimsy or cheap-feeling. It has an all-metal back plate, which I like to see. The card also does not sag or seem to put a lot of stress on the PCIE slot, which a lot of other cards do. ASUS also included an NVIDIA power adapter, which feels and looks like quality. My last card was an MSI, and I am very impressed with this ASUS RTX 4070 SUPER.
