Once the graphics card was installed it was relatively simple to switch on the CSM option, switch the boot process from UEFI to legacy, and reinstall windows.The onboard Wi-Fi does not work out of the box and the drivers to get it working are not included in the box - i had to dig out powerline adapters to get a network up and running, download the Wi-Fi drivers from ASUS - not a great approach. It is up, running and working fine but better documentation would have been helpful.

I tried AWDIT for the first time and purchased the ASUS PRIME B650M-A WIFI II motherboard. I am pleased with my purchase as the motherboard works flawlessly and was able to power my Ryzen 9 7000 series chip with zero issues. The build quality is fantastic. Only small issue was the IO plate was a little finicky to install but that could be due to my own PC case.

I had to dig out some powerline adapters to complete the install. that said the wifi is now running at over 200mbps so all good.Documentation could be a lot better - if i had not had access to the youtube world this pc would never have been up and running but it is up and it is running well.

Decent gaming on a mid priced board

Fine motherboard for me.

I got this from Amazon warehouse, at a discount. It was missing the m.2 standoffs and the CPU bridges - irritating but not unfixable. The latter can be for socket am4 but you may have to make them thinner to fit! It has a big heatsink for the VMUs, which is necessary (apparently these are not up to snuff). However it's brilliant for my non-gaming purposes.

Good Solid Board

Everything you need for your gaming rig. Why spend more for features most people will never use. Easy to setup bios with flashback protection. Great software support through Armoury Crate with Aura Sync for all your lighting effects.

Issues

This motherboard doesn't except OC'd DDR5 Ram. It crashes if XMP or XPO is enable in Bios. Crashes system if external HDD is plugged in. Very disappointed with this motherboard. But since it was part of a prebuilt and other know issues with this motherboard my hands are tied.

Legacy boot vs. UEFI

With the impending Windows 11 launch, a lot of people will be upgrading to your boards, but want to use existing drives. I spent hours figuring out that my problem was legacy boot vs. UEFI boot. You should develop a clear instruction for when a boot fails, but all disks are seen in the BIOS.

Well it is a mother board...

So, i didn't buy this by choice, it is in my high end pre-built gaming pc. The tuning program, Armoury crate is a terrible experience. The program will force restart the pc if you go through the operation of lighting and fan speed, half the time. I am afraid to use anymore tuning options as it may be worse. Everything has been updated and checked again. Maybe this could be a fluke. 3 weeks of use. Previously MSI 5 years

Bought this to pair with a Ryzen 7600 and 32GB of RAM. Did it's job well enough.Cons:* It bugs you about installing the Armoury Crate software in Windows* ASUS voids your warranty if you update to the latest BIOS, which they say is necessary to keep the board from frying your processor.
