The speakers are already integrated into this monitor, so you don't need external speakers and can save space on your desk. This monitor features an IPS panel (In-Plane Switching). The IPS technology combines two major advantages. Firstly, it provides a very wide viewing angle, allowing multiple viewers to easily see the content at the same time. Secondly, the IPS technology ensures high color fidelity, making this monitor suitable for color-sensitive applications such as photo editing. Many cables contribute to a cluttered workspace. The Daisy Chain technology allows you to easily connect multiple output devices together. The source is connected to the input of the output device. With another cable, you can connect the output of the first output device to the input of another output device. This reduces the number of cables to the source to a minimum. Save yourself from uncomfortable contortions: This monitor comes with a built-in USB hub, so the appropriate connection options for your peripherals and storage media are just a hand's reach away. The stand of this monitor allows for very flexible adjustment options: You can adjust the monitor's height, tilt it up and down, swivel it left or right, or rotate it 90° into portrait mode (Pivot). The perfect monitor alignment for any seating position or task is just a hand's reach away.

I like it very much. It's bright and clear and highly adjustable. Windows at full focus look great. But I did have pause. When I first plugged it in with my USB-C I heard a buzzing. This is called coil whine and it comes from too much electricity flowing into the display. I thought I would have to send it back. Even the tech at ASUS told me to put it back in the box. Could I possibly adjust it and save myself the trouble? He had no idea. But I looked around and found a suggestion: Instead of using USB-C to connect it to my laptop, use HDMI. I changed the input on the display itself, and... it worked. No more whine. So with that in mind, this is a good--maybe not great--display. As everyone says, it's excellent at this price. For me, that's good enough.

For the first few weeks, the monitor worked like a charm. However, since then when switching display inputs or when waking up from sleep.. the monitor leaves the display source text permanently on the screen and I need to power off and power on the monitor every single time. Sadly I missed the return window and will go through ASUS's manufacturer warranty process.

The 16:10 aspect ratio at 24 1200P is the perfect monitor to be productive. For viewing and editing photos this monitos is brilliant. Had multiple inputs (2xHDMI, 1xDP, 1xUSB-C). The one con is if you plan to use a chromecast. The resolution does not match and videos are bit wonky in terms of resolution. That said, using this with a mac or PC is a charm!!!
