I recently upgraded from a Pair of Hyper x Cloud Revolver S headphones to these bad boys. While not quite as comfortable, the sound quality is a big step up. I love the added functionality and tuning provided by Asus Armory Software. It has a bunch of preset EQs for al kinds of game and music genres. Dont get me wrong, these headphones feel great to wear. I was really impressed by how premium they feel but they took some time to really break in. Once broken in, they disappear around your head just like the cloud revolvers.

I hear static on the headset and the audio cuts out and I have to disconnect and connect the headset in order to stop the static noise. I've tried this on a surface laptop 15inch i7.32gb.1tb laptop and a surface book 3 15in i7.16.256, by no means low end machines and have the same problem on both. I bought the throne dad stand Asus sells as well where you connect the headset to the throne, which then connects to the laptop and I still hear the static which happens intermittently. It happens at least once a day.I was disappointed to hear I couldn't get support from microcenter because it's a headset even though I noticed the issue on the same day I purchased the headset. I am now dealing with Asus support with no movement at all and $160 down the drain.

Asus ROG Delta delivers both enjoyable music listening and gaming experience. I use this headset while listening to music during in game solo sessions. And I was a bit surprised on how this headset sounds; being an audio enthusiast, I do care about how my music sounds and also being a gamer, I do like to hear in game nuances with a good detachable microphone to talk to friends during co-op gaming sessions. If or when this headset stops functioning, I will buy another just because of the two important things mentioned above.
So I'll start by saying I've owned several gaming headsets and they've ranged from inexpensive to hundreds of dollars in price. These definitely fall towards the top of the pile for performance and comfort. The two sets of mufs are great, and they are super comfortable for long periods of time. The mic quality is good and I'd give these the nod over all but one set I've owned (virtuoso) and even then I don't miss hearing low battery in the ear of the wireless sets.

One criticism I have is with the Armory Crate software, every time I start up my computer I have to reactivate the Aura Sync lighting. The software also is a bit sluggish with delays loading pages and adjustments to the audio profiles. While these problems can be annoying at least they don't detract from the quality of the physical headset.
1/14/2022So I just bought them and they feel really well made and comfortable when wearing them. I dont really use the RGB lights OFTEN so I do like the option of turning them ON and OFF. The Mic part isnt stiff its "Bend-able" to a certain degree , but when i did use it in a game at first they said i sounded a bit muffled so your gonna have to adjust it .It is a weird fit at first since everyone is used to circular shaped Headset/Headphones but after a couple of hours in and your gonna get used to it as well as the placement of the volume and the press of the mute which is the volume switch.So overall at this PRICE point its pretty Dang Good 9/10 Recommend !
