The item arrived on time and in good condition. a repeated purchase as I like the enclosure durability and reliability. Slightly heavier than typical plastic enclosure due to its metal construction. Overall very satisfied with the product. Best to buy during Sale when Price drops as it is about 2 time the price of a normal plastic SSD enclosure. 😊😊😊😊😊

Out of the box, this enclosure is in a field of its own. Built like a tank yet seems to easily dissipate heat for the M.4 device. I'm using this with the new Crucial T700 2TB Gen5 NVMe. Working great!

Very solid...heavy and built like a tank. Easy to open and tool included. Very simple latching mechanism for ssd drive. So far so good. Cloned my laptop drive. The video on the Asus website has the installation instructions. Very handy.I don't understand writing a bad review for something based on specs they make clear. Yeah, it support up to 2TB drives at 10Gbps...and it's way cheaper than faster enclosures. And water proof. Pay no mind to the silly 2 star review.

It is heavier for its size. I feel confident that it will keep the drive cool. The rubber seal inside is awesome as it will keep the ssd dust free and protect from water. The enclosure doesn't have a fan cooling system. However, the material it is made of and the included thermal pad keeps the ssd cool during its use. I'd highly recommend it. I found it a cheap and high quality option available in the market. In my honest opinion, no other seller has such a value offer.
Got this to serve as a backup drive for my mom, paired with a decent M2 SSD, (I used a Samsung 980 pro). It's very solid, easy to install the drive (no fussy retaining screw, has a swivel latch internally, four screws retain the gasketed cover). Format and go.I did not drop test it, but I can believe it that it's not gonna break, I'd me more worried about denting the floor.Throughput was as expected, very, very quick, so no bottlenecks noted on the USB-C interface.Next time I need an external, gonna get another one.
Not a gamer so any branding to that effect isn't my thing but it is unobtrusive enough in this example to not draw attention. After looking at many portable drives I decided to go the enclosure/ Nvme route to ensure the quality of components. This enclosure boasts a higher than normal specification in terms of IP rating, dust intrusion, and drop testing and although costlier than many enclosures worth it for those reasons. In real life it is actually much more robust than the specification and price suggests. It is very solid and heavier than expected. Haven't tried, but expect it would survive being driven over. Seems like a lot of quality for the price with nothing to fault.
