I've owned this monitor for 8 months now, and I can honestly say that this is an amazing deal.Pros:--It has a pretty robust stand so you wont have any issues with wobbling unless your desk is all wonky.--It's very sleek and pretty, but it doesn't scream "gaming monitor" so it can easily be used in a professional setting.--Colors are nice and vibrant.--Screen brightness is perfect unless the sun is right in your eyes.--Easy to clean.Cons:--Onboard speakers could be better, but to the average consumer, they'll perform just fine.--Pixel response time is a bit low, so reading things while they're moving is a bit difficult.This monitor is a 9/10 for me and I'll be adding another one to my setup soon.

Very cheap price for the performance. It runs at over 120 fps with very low (good) refresh rates and zero input lag. The picture isn't the greatest and looks slightly yellowish to me, but I can overlook that due to the price and performance. Something has to be sacrificed, and as this is a gaming monitor, performance is much more of a priority.
Great monitor at a nice price. Full HD display with a quick response rate and nice contrast ratio. Monitor is sleek and stylish with nearly no edging so it takes up less space but delivers the same screen size. Everything was packaged nicely and all connections included like an HDMI and data port cable. I only use it for work so can't speak on its gaming functionality but having used and bought other brands at the office and at home this is my third Asus monitor and love them all.
I upgraded to this monitor from a 120hz TN Panel Monitor. For this model I payed $180 and I am quite happy I did. The 165HZ is buttery smooth without any lag or anything. My older monitor had ghosting issues when I turned the refresh rate up but this one I keep at 165HZ and I can't see any ghosting or anything else. The best part of this monitor hands down is, the screen quality. Since it is an IPL Panel it is the best type of panel and it is miles and miles ahead of VA Panel OR TN Panel. The viewing angles are wonderful and the monitor gets quite bright. It has speakers which I used a few times and they are one of the better built-in speakers I have seen. The display itself is great for my use, which is gaming. I don't need 1440p but I do need 165hz for that smoother feel, which makes this display a good match for me. However, one major quirk is that the monitor can only utilize the 165hz overclocked refresh rate when it is connected through its Display Port ONLY. You cannot access this feature on HDMI, you would be limited to 144hz. So, if you will use this for a laptop, make sure to buy a USB-C to DP cable if your laptop doesn't have a DP (most likely). Overall, this is a very enjoyable display with some weird quirks that may be a deal-breaker for many
Best monitor with good speakers. I got the volume level to 1 for gaming at night and its still loud. Easy to use settings with customizable assign buttons. Works good for my Xbox series X.But -2 stars because the monitor i got had a small dead pixel that you could barely see unless you were watching something bright, and sometimes the settings changes itself to Racing mode when i got it on FPS mode.Overall. They should display the monitor before they sell it. Mine gots a small dead pixel center left side. Its annoying when your watching videos
It's a decent monitor. I really don't like the joystick style controls at all, the decision to add speakers at all was a bad idea, especially the way it was implemented this they sound atrocious. ASUS quality isn't what it used to be plastic on this feels like it's going to break it in time. I even touch it. And that's coming for a long time user of ASUs products since at least the mid-90s
Folks, put the monitor in racing mode and a majority of the issue goes away. This monitor is great, super quick response which leaves FPS games feeling buttery smooth. Wish it had a way to heighten it but thats ok. Picture quality is decent, I like to sit close to my monitor so the lack of clarity in the distance is noticable but I cant complain. They should probably re release this monitor with full color calibration because the racing mode does look pretty good
