I am unhappy with my new Asus because I needed to update my 5 or 6 year old Asus VivoBook that I have loved. However, I was worried it was starting to have problems and thought to order a replacement so went onto Fingerhut site where I had an account. BUT, apparently I mistakenly ordered a ZENBOOK. It was on sale so NO returns so I decided to set it up and TRY TRY TRY to get used to it....But I hate it. The print for notices and many sites is too small for me to read, AND I discovered that it does not have the usual places to plug in my other equipment - A set of oice cancelling headphones, the attachable disk player, and so far I just do NOT find the keyboard easy to use with typing (I am a writer and need that aspect to be good for my hands). On the other hand, I can say that as I set it up, the computer as such was fast, colorful and probably would become more efficiently usable in time except .... I HATE the darned thing in general. The size is just NOT convenient for what I wanted as I just hoped to replace my older ASUS as it has been an amazing laptop and I really meant to order the exact same thing. Yes, basically the baby laptop was likely my own mistake and I guess there's no remedy; I am probably stuck with the zenbook because of the fact it was on sale from Fingerhut. I have loved my ASUS laptop, which was my first ASUS machine ever and it worked circles around my previous brands. I use my laptop for about everything, classes and writing tasks especially, but I do not know if I can ever be used to the tiny print and screen of the new zenbook. I wish there was a way to just trade it for a vivabook but suppose that's wishful thinking. I cannot blame the ASUS product for my stupid error, I just wanted to express my feelings and appreciate anyone that will listen.

I received my product just yesterday and set it up. I was blown away by the quality of the screen and laptop's build quality. However I am completely underwhelmed and extremely cross by seeing the battery life of what the product is clearly making claims on its "long" battery life on all its advertising platforms for 75Wh battery. After the first charge, the laptop showed 3hours (no kidding!) of life on a full battery. Additionally, the sales page claims of the laptop having a number pad on the touch pad which I thought was snazzy to have but is not present on the laptop. When I got back to their sales team they then claim that some versions of the laptop sold in the UK may not have this. Then why claim that the battery is long life and the touch pad to have the ... Therefore on principle, I have agreed to return the laptop after what would have been an exciting first purchase of an Asus laptop is likely to be the last sadly.

I bought this laptop hoping to use it for my professional work. I went for the Ryzen 7 model with a 1 TB drive and had high hopes. The display is AMAZING. But even with simple browsing, there's always this constant huge fan noise you just can’t ignore. I thought it might settle down after a few days, so I tried to overlook it. But even after 10 days, it was still the same. I couldn't stand it anymore and decided to return it.I packed it up nicely and went to the Officeworks store in 11th day, but they refused to take it back because they can't sell it again. The guy there said he could send it to ASUS for checking for faults, but the whole process would take a couple of weeks. If no fault was found, I'd have to pay Asus according to their policy. It's thin and light, and the bezel is very small. I always wanted and waited for an OLED monitor or TV. But I have a problem buying, with the blue LEDS losing intensity. I remember CRT color TV's had one color would fade before the others, and if you were lucky, you could increase that color to make it match. The OLED screen is beautiful, and now wish I got a bigger one. My biggest problem is finding the right mouse button so far, I'm not big on cellphones or smooth touch screens, I need to feel the separations. The Speaker sound is good, WIFI has been flawless. Sadly, I only use a laptop when I travel, maybe once a year now, for a month, so I didn't want to pay too much. I haven't tried the bluetooth yet, but I will. I wish it had 2 separate mouse buttons, and that's why the 4 stars. To the manufacturers, I wish when there are features that are not on certain models, it doesn't take much effort to remove those features from being shown on separate manuals. You think you have something, and you don't. One manual for each version, would help the consumer. I thought I could switch to the number keypad, until I couldn't. Wasted my time. Four versions, four manuals please.
Early days but I am very pleased with my Zenbook, and when I looked around at alternatives I felt it was a very reasonable price for the spec. Some random comments. It's nice and slim, it feels "premium" quality, and I quite like the origami lines on the dark blue lid (though my wife doesn't). Overall it seems fairly fast, there's a nice touchscreen and I like the 14" size better than my last 13.3". I was also delighted to find that there's little in the way of "bloatware". I have tried out the optional (controversial?) number function on the touchpad and like it - though not really using it (it's easy to turn on/off). Negatives? Nothing major. Finger marks show up a bit. The two thunderbolt ports are on the same side which is less convenient for charging. I could ... The 512GB SSD keeps things fast, from booting up to loading your files. The battery life is solid, lasting up to 18 hours, so you can go all day without worrying about a charger. Plus, it’s super lightweight at just 1.39 kg, making it perfect for on-the-go use.Overall reliable laptop that’s a pleasure to use.Overall Rating: 4.8/5.

Zen3 or Zen4 combined with 32gb ram would make this laptop PERFECT for me.Build quality is the closest to macbook level that I have seen in my personal experience. It's better than Zenbook 14X in terms of how well built it is even though that uses same materials.

The laptop is a desirable choice for individuals who wish to have a high-end laptop without going over budget because of its reasonable pricing.
The ASUS ZENBOOK 14 OLED is a sleek and portable with a vibrant OLED display, offering rich colours and deep contrasts. Its compact design makes it easy to carry and the AMD Raymen or Intel Core processor options provide reliable performance. The keyboard is comfortable for typing and the built quality is generally solid. However, battery life could vary depending on usage and some users may find the trackpad placement unconventional. The Harman / Kardon sound system frequency and coherence absolutely good. Overall, it’s a strong choice for those seeking a combination of style, performance and impressive OLED screen. It’s a perfect choice on choosing ASUS ZENBOOK 14 OLED for my personal usage and educational purposes. Thank you.
