After reading all of the product reviews from competitors NAS I found the Asustor AS3204T to be a good cost effective choice. My decision was primarily based on PLEX compatibility and performance. Setup was relative simple however, the instructions did not go into the details about having to Map the drive before my Windows 10 PC would recognize the presence of another storage device. I have not ran any performance tests to determine speed as I only need 1 stream at a time which all NAS devices should be able to handle. Noise rejection is very low as I have it temporary placed within 24" from my head. Not very scientific however, I have difficulty hearing any sound originating from the NAS. My Blu-Ray burner makes more noise than any of my other devices including my ...
