Good unit and works well
There were no instructions supplied with this unit, so I had no idea had to change modes to work with a Lithium battery. The Mode push-button was not doing anything. When I tried to call Vic Off-Road for help, all I got was an automated message. I didn't have internet access, cos we were away camping, so I had no way of using their online help either. Fortunately another camper nearby had a similar MPPT solar controller from a different manufacturer (they looked identical, just a different colour) and he showed me how to change modes. Turns out, you need to hold the mode switch down for over 5 seconds. Would it be that hard to put that key piece of information on the actual controller?!?!?
