Athanor Portable Gas Water Heater
This portable outdoor gas water heater makes cleaning up after a day’s adventure in the outdoors very easy. The adjustable temperature, water flow, and shower head makes it very versatile, from showering yourself or the kids to washing the dishes, cleaning pets, removing the mud or salt-water from your equipment, and much more. To operate, simply connect up your water source and LPG gas cylinder, and open the shower head to activate the heater. Water will heat to your desired temperature up to 45°C, which is shown on the LED display. Safety features include a temperature sensor to stop the water temp from exceeding 50°C, and a water flow sensor that only enables the burner to work when water is flowing. Supplied with shower head on a generous length shower hose and hanging kit with mounting hardware for temporary or permanent mounting. 2 x standard D cell batteries are required. Note: For outdoor use only, hung upright, and not to be used for drinking water. A water pump is required (sold separately) when water pressure is below 0.25MPa. Did not go when I received it. Rang marine deals up they jst put me onto someone else when they could have done something about it. So yea had to travel to Hamilton the same day I received it to get it replaced,

Only puts out hot water at the lowest water pressure setting
50 degree safety cut off is a pain, needs to be reset to around the 65-70 degree mark
Awesome little unit, more than adequate for an outdoor shower or cleaning around the farm
bought this unit before xmas and used it most days at our beach shed. It was worked brilliantly over the summer so for summer camping near perfect. The negative side is that now winter is closing in despite having it on max heat it only heats the water to 35 degree and with winter chill still to come i doubt the unit will cope.
