The vanilla protein shake is flavorful and filling. We purchase ours from Sam’s Club with 15 shakes per package. I was pleasantly surprised at how I wasn’t starving after 30 minutes. I have to confess, I like to eat. So for this to be filling and for me to not feel “cheated” from missing a meal AND the taste is actually something I enjoy (and not have to choke down) is somewhat of a miracle. Plus, the vanilla isn’t even my favorite flavor. It is creamy and tastes great, but I love the cafe au lait/coffee flavor even more. We alternate between these flavors, (plus the chocolate) depending on what’s available at the time. Best iced coffee, no more coffee shop!

This is my favorite of all the protein shake flavors. I am extremely picky when it comes to taste. I choose different shake brands for specific flavors. Pour this over ice, and it's just like going to your favorite coffee chain for an iced coffee, only fewer calories, and added protein! Because there are fewer calories, carbs, and only 1g of sugar, have 2 and make it a large! Want a bigger boost of caffeine? Add a 4-8oz coffee pod. Make it fancy and drizzle some sugar-free ice cream topping like caramel or chocolate. Just look at the nutritional panel first!

Love Atkins, not the Strawberry (could be me??)

It made me very sick this Strawberry flavor. I don't know if was just me so I only took a star off. I have had this flavor many times before. I drink many flavors for years, including this flavor. I did an experiment to make sure it was only that flavor...it is. (I stopped drinking that one Strawberry flavor only for two weeks, was fine and then had one...really sick the next day for two days}. I am not allergic to strawberry..so now I have to throw away 7 bottles out that I paid for (out of 12). No, they are not expired and don't smell or taste funny.. Kept me sick for weeks until I figured it was this one flavor. (I bought 4 different flavors, 48 bottles) Can't figure it out?? These are going in the trash just in case it is a bad batch. Make it part of every day life

Always a staple at our house. I love the vanilla so much I put it into coffee, pour it over ice, blend it and have my version of a big yummy frappathingie. Low calorie, won't wreck your blood sugar or throw you off keto progress. It literally feel like you have eaten a nice dense snack and doesn't make you wander back to the kitchen in 20 minutes for something else. I can eat a couple cheese sticks and an Atkins drink and call it breakfast when I'm not feeling like eating anything. Some days I am not a breakfast person the minute I roll out of bed. If I don't drink one at 3pm I might eat pizza, pasta, or a chocolate cupcake for dinner.We have literally been drinking these for 20 years, my whole family knows what to do when they need a between meal snack, before or after working out, when they're feeling like they want a junk food snack but know the slump after junk food just leaves them hungrier. I could go on for days omg pour one in a freezer safe bowl and eat it like icecream! It is the best when you're hot %26 hungry. We never get products for free, this is honestly how it works with our family. Three generations of my family are drinking Atkins shakes, having snacks, frozen meals or a dessert means I can go to my parents house, open their fridge/freezer and eat without messing up my blood sugar/keto progress.

Mmmm good!

There’s no hesitation here. My husband loves these. We heard about these from a friend at church. Our friend is a runner and he uses them for a meal replacement when he’s in a hurry, or if he’s hungry between meals. My husband has used these consistently for the last year for breakfast. They taste good. There’s no funky texture issue like with other protein drinks. Did I mention they taste good?Personally, I have a hard time getting all the nutrients i need from my food. I feel better when I use these occasionally.Four stars because there are no dairy free options, and as a lactose intolerant individual I can only do one of these occasionally. If there were a dairy/soy free version, you could count me in immediately!

So, I need something to help me control my weight and won't raise my blood glucose a lot. These are an okay substitute. 160 calories in each it says. The taste is acceptable, if a bit artificial-tasting on the tongue. They are kind of seemingly expensive, but not dramatically more than similar products.It has a combination of whey and soy proteins. So, you decide whether that is "healthy" or not. The packaging is somewhat pliable material that claims to be recyclable "mix board" (aka Tetra Pak paperboard?). I don't know if it really is recyclable. Possibly better than a plain old plastic bottle, so environmentally, maybe a little less guilt about convenience foods.

Tasted REALLY GOOD!

I got this because I was looking for a good protein shake. Since I really like root beer floats but don’t want all the bad things that go with it, I thought I would try this. I’ve been doing really good on my weight loss journey but sometimes you just need a little sweetness to curve those cravings. I will have to say… I was pleasantly surprised of how good this tasted! LIKE A ROOT BEER FLOAT! And… I didn’t notice an aftertaste like a lot of these shakes have. It was really good! I just wish it had more in the serving. Also, I didn’t have the stomach issues I usually get after drinking a protein shake. Some people with IBS will understand this issue. I will for sure try other flavors as well.

The Protein Supplement That Works and not break me

I’m 66 years young, disabled with stage three RA, I live 90 miles from town alone. I was my Mother’s caregiver for 9 years before she broke her hip and then suffered a stroke, she passed away last week. I’m very conscious about my health but because of my disability I don’t cook, Adkins protein drinks and the perfect substitute for the lack of protein missing in my diet. Very healthy and tasty (not chalky like some supplement shakes) Walmart has the best price and quick shipping. I’d never imagined that I would be so limited on my physical ability, but I still seek a high quality of life, Adkins helps me to achieve that goal. Thanks Walmart for helping us older (former physical powerhouse builders and the Generation of changers )

I came from the old school where we ate bacon and eggs I don't even eat salads when I'm on this because my body's become so sensitive to any type of sweet and my problem is diet soda. which I'm convinced diet Pepsi diet caffeine free Pepsi is using real sugar combined with artificial sweeteners which literally cause the sodas to be twice to three times as sweet as a normal soda even though a normal soda is much higher in calories. I'm surprised Atkins hasn't brought out their own line of sodas. good luck.

nice flavor, not sure about weight loss

I sometimes have this in my fridge for a quick meal replacement. The Milk Chocolate Delight flavor is named well - it's delicious and taste just like a milkshake. I have tried a few other flavors and they are too sweet for me. I would like to know a bit more information about using this as a weight loss tool because I don't understand how that would work and ha. ve seen no evidence myself. Moreover, I don't think using the shake as a meal replacement for any length of time would really be healthy considering the milk and sugar ingredients. For an occasional meal replacement I can recommend this. As a long term weight loss solution, I would consult with experts including my doctor.
