Then the paint particles clog the oil pump strainer and could cause a failure. As I stated earlier I only put in about 2oz of the bottle and drove it a few hours. I drive every day and have no issues with clogs or leaks.

Fixed Power Steering Leak

I pressure washed the undercarriage and found the leak was coming from the lines that connect to the steering rack. I poured 1 oz of this AT 205 and cycled my steering wheel from end to end a couple of times. I have not replaced the power steering fluid but i swear this thing worked like magic. Not only did it fix the leak, it also decreased the effort to turn the steering wheel making it feel as if it was electric power steering. I took the belt out, soaked it in a glass container, reinstalled it and now's nice and tight. No new belt needed.

I buy this amazing product with every oil change.

I purchased a used Land Rover LR4. After about a year I had a massive oil leak in the front of the motor. The serpentine belt shredded and it caused a lot of damage, including ruining my alternator, damaging components and etc. The repair cost was in the thousands, but they were not able to identify the source of the leak, so it continued to leak and cause problems. So, on advice, I purchased a bottle of At-205. It stopped the leak almost immediately and that was 5 years ago. I add a bottle with every oil change and haven't had a leak since then. I swear by this stuff.

Oil leak increased after use
24 July 2023

My 2000 Camry has a main seal leak. Only a couple of drops on garage floor when the car is parked overnight. Since I used this product, the leak has increased from a couple of drops to a good amount of oil on the floor. I have to add oil to engine every couple of weeks now. I'm regretting using this product. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Preventative Maintenance

I drive an old van Honda Odyssey with 267K miles I bought on Craigs List for 1600 bucks two years ago! Does not leak or burn any oil! I want to keep it that way so this product I run in my engine oil and transmission fluid! Just one bottle to transmission only and every other oil change one bottle to engine oil. It keeps all the rubber seals in engine oil and transmission fluid soft and pliable. When oil seals get hard and brittle such as rear main seal or valve seals then begin to leak oil. Scotty Kilmer on YouTube recommends this additive and he is right on again! James

Used per directions, Replaced New Axle seal and had a small leak. New old stock 2000 Saturn. Not only didn't it work but the leak became worse and lost the Transmission fluid. Differential locked up when fluid went too low and now the car is 200 miles away and labor more than car is worth.New CV shaft and new OEM seal, Not damaged during install. Just had a minor drip. No other leaks were detected an drove only 200+ miles before complete failure. No warning, Just stopped. $100 tow to Junk Yard.

This product works on minor to medium leaks. Try it!

Actually works but, my leak was minor. This product is for minor leaks not huge neglected cracks in seals and gaskets. If you notice a large leak is it worth a try? Yes, it is. That said don't say the product didn't work. Say your leak was to far gone for the product to help(that's the truth).I say this because I see many criticizing AT-205 when it doesn't work for them. I read more positive than negative reviews before my purchase. That made me buy this. It worked almost immediately. If you have questions call your dealership or find info from manufacturer of your car and see if it's ok to use for your car.It is safe to use on all engines and transmissions and other parts of the car(NOT BRAKE SYSTEMS DO NOT PUT IN BREAK SYSTEMS).To me, this product is good if ... MoreActually works but, my leak was minor. If it works you know your leak was minor. You can drive knowing your car is ok and not be quick to repair it because minor leaks this product works on no longer have to be addressed. If product doesn't work you'll know the leak is in need of a repair when you can get it done. It's basically a cheap way to analyze the car.My hope is for everyone who tries this that the leaks minor. Periodically check below your car if you have anything below that will not allow you to see leaks like I did. It fell on a metal shield below my engine. I felt the leak by trying to clean it. It was minor. AT-205 immediately closed the leak(also I smelled oil burning prior to using AT-205 and after using it smell went away in 2 days).Good luck people

I put this AT-205 (non Petro base) in a spray bottle and used it on my suspension system's rubber bushings to clean and rejuvenate. Excellent results so far. Luckily haven't had to use it for its stopping internal leaks purpose. Use glasses and a mask if your gonna spray this product.

Worked for me!
21 August 2023

It's not often I leave a review for something like this and I am generally dubious of the many products that claim all sorts of things (remember Slick 50?). I had an oil leak in my 2007 Subuaru Impreza. I am pretty sure it was coming from the back of the engine and repair was going to require puliing the whole thing to get to it It's a big job of course so I decided to give this stuff a try first. Here's hoping, right? It totally worked! The car was leaving a small oil spot every single night, and now...no drips at all. I don't know how it works but it worked for me and I would recommend giving it a try if you're in a similar boat. I put the remainder of the bottle in my other Subaru when I changed the oil there just as a precaution to extend the life on any gaskets ... MoreIt's not often I leave a review for something like this and I am generally dubious of the many products that claim all sorts of things (remember Slick 50?). This stuff really seems to work and I wouldn't hesitate to use it in the future. Also, the Scotty guy recommends spraying it on various rubber parts on the body (like CV boots) to extend their lives. I was dubious about this but I'm gonna give that a try too.

This was my second purchase. My first "trial" use was a Toyota Sienna I had replaced the full exhaust system on. The catalytic converters became so plugged up that they turned RED hot a couple of times. After installing the exhaust the customer complained of terrible oil leaks. The heat from the converters had damaged the forward passenger side camshaft seal on top of the front cover. The rear main seal was BLEEDING oil on the ground. I took the chance because to replace those seals would have been 3 to 4 times the value of the vehicle. I added the At-205 while the engine was running, oil leaks very obvious with cardboard on the driveway. I added the At-205 while the engine was running, oil leaks very obvious with cardboard on the driveway. About 10 minutes after adding the sealer, the front cam seal seemed to reduce its flow quite a bit...or a LOT. I shut the engine down and waited a few minutes to check the oil level Oil still OK, I rearranged the cardboard to track new/old leaks and started the engine. I was buffaloed trying to find where the oil from the front camshaft was going to now. A few drops from frame drips and that was it!!~! the rear seal had slowed to a heavy drip. Again I turn off the engine, wait 5 minutes and check the oil level. Now it is just above the ADD mark. I started the engine and searched for the rear main seal leak!!! Nothing but framedrip residuals. Told the owner what I did and he researched the product further than I had. He sent me a message that this product is only meant as a temporary cure for the leaks. he was concerned that he may need to spend $20 on another bottle every time he changed the oil? (he might have change it every 12,000 miles anyway). I read the information and suggested that the customer buy one bottle for two oil changes and add half the bottle each oil change as the "treatment" was already done. So, 9,xxx miles later he has added 1 qt. of motor oil to the van. Done nothing else! His catalytic converters plugged up again but he sliced holes in the front of them to keep them from heating up again. My current purchase if for a small engine on a riding mower that the air filter had possibly never been looked at. Bought the whole mower for $25 and had it running in 20 minutes after taking it off the trailer. The drive pulley would not come off the shaft to get to the output seal. started the engine to warm up, added 3 oz. of AT-205 to the 2 quart crankcase and washed off the residual oil after 20 minutes of mowing! DONE
