Cut the cord, keep the vinyl. The AT-LP60-BT gives you all the great features of our popular AT-LP60 fully automatic belt-drive stereo turntable but with the added convenience of Bluetooth wireless connectivity. So you can set up your turntable in one room and listen to it in another without having to run a bunch of cables. Up to eight different pairs of speakers, headphones or other devices that utilize Bluetooth wireless technology can be stored in the AT-LP60-BT’s memory. Once stored, a simple push of the turntable’s Function button is all that is required to connect the turntable to your chosen wireless device. The AT-LP60-BT also gives you the option of operating it just like a regular turntable with a traditional wired connection. Either way – wired or wireless – you get outstanding audio with the ease of automatic operation: just push the Start button to begin playing a record, and the Stop button to lift and return the tone arm and shut off the turntable (the stop function occurs automatically when a record has played all the way through). A tone arm Lift button is also included to let you raise and lower the tone arm without stopping the turntable. Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the AT-LP60-BT’s Dual Magnet cartridge with replaceable stylus. The cartridge is integrated into the tone arm for assured performance and ease of setup.

As a product this turntable is entry level but of good quality. The cartridge is the ubiquitous Audio Technica AT 3600 and replacement styli are reasonably priced. However, the cartridge itself cannot be upgraded, neither can you adjust pick up weight or 'skating'. The Bluetooth connection seems fine and the sound quality is pretty good, with no audible 'rumble' or 'flutter'. Assembly is easy - merely putting the drive belt over the motor pulley. If you are an audiophile and serious about vinyl, chances are you'd be looking at a much more refined and expensive turntable with at least an interchangeable head shell. However, as it stands the Audio Tecnica is a good introduction to vinyl records.

Just bought this and tried to connect to Sonos Move and Arc sound bar. Could not even see the Bluetooth connection on my iPhone. Tried going back through limited content provided with turntable, then same cycle with Sonos. Called in Geek Squad who ended up with the same issue. The experts even went Audio-Technica’s website to factory reset the turntable. No luck there either! Blue tooth on this turntable simply did not work. Am returning it for another brand. The Geek Squad has helped me set up my entire house and boathouse! This is it their fault! All of the reviews had this turntable as extremely positive.

Easy to use and good sound at a reasonable price
27 March 2023

I bought this item as an upgrade to my existing Audio Technica lp60USB record player which has served me well for 6 years. This model is very similar but there are some cosmetic improvements such as sleeker more rounded casing, a more substantial dust cover and crucially, Bluetooth capability.Set up was easy and took 5 minutes. Unlike its predecessor, this item does not come with a pre fitted Aux cable but does come with an AC phono cable which I hooked up to my Ruark R4 music system and I was good to go. Some might consider the unit a bit flimsy being made of plastic but placed on a flat surface it was perfectly steady with no vibration.I’m not an audiophile, I just want something that sounds decent for a reasonable price and I think this unit performs well ... MoreI bought this item as an upgrade to my existing Audio Technica lp60USB record player which has served me well for 6 years. Those who want to fiddle with counterweight or tracking force will be disappointed that the tonearm and cartridge are set and non-adjustable though the stylus can be replaced. This is a fully automatic system so you literally just press and play. One quibble is the lack of a clip to hold the tonearm in place when resting. Although this isn’t designed to be a portable record player it would be useful to be able to secure the tonearm when lifting the unit to clean under it etc.Despite some online reviews reporting problems with some devices, I had no difficulty pairing my JVC Bluetooth headphones which paired in seconds and sound good.Overall, I’m pleased I made the upgrade and recommend this product to those looking for a record player that is easy to set up and use, produces decent sound quality and doesn’t break the bank.

Excellent Turntable!
18 January 2022

For full honesty, I initially bought a Sony bluetooth turn-table, but the bluetooth was broken on it, so I bought this one next. It's been excellent for my first turn-table! The set-up only took about 5 minutes, it's very simple to use, and the bluetooth connects relatively quickly (takes about 15-30 seconds for pairing...). Buttons include the bluetooth pairing button, start, stop, "pause" (the button will lift the stylus), and a switch on the back for "line/phono". OH, and there is a switch to change the record size (12" or 7") and a button to change the speed - 33 or 45. There is also an aux port on the back, which you will need if you plan to wire to speakers. Note, there are no AV ports, only the aux port... Which if you wanted to wire to a stereo with AV ports, you can buy an AV to aux connector cable. Ultimately, I think this is well worth the price, and a great, simple-to-use turn-table. The bluetooth function is also a huge selling point for me. And lastly... Vinyl does sound better!!! I connected a pair of premium headphones to listen to a vinyl album from a current artist I listen to relentlessly and the clarity, crispness, and quality is a noticeable difference from the usual playback quality of digital streaming. I think people can argue about it, and I was skeptical on vinyl actually producing better sound, but I heard it first hand! The music just sounds "sharper" if that makes sense. I also think I can notice the improvement from the vinyl because I listen to this artist almost daily. The number of times I have heard each song is astronomical, so I instantly could hear the sharp improvement. If you play an album of an artist you don't listen to as much, you may not hear any quality difference.

Minimum for beginner record collectors
19 July 2022

Definitely a step above all the cheaper record players Target sells. This is about the cheapest record player you can get that is unlikely to potentially damage your records. I had no issues with skipping except on records that were already heavily damaged, and even then a quick clean fixed a lot of those skips. You can find higher quality needle replacements online for ~$30-40, which I would recommend for long term use. Look up youtube videos to find the best replacement. Cartridge can't be replaced, but it's not too bad. Had some problems pairing to some cheaper/smaller bluetooth speakers, but works fine on any soundbar I've paired it to. If you can find it on sale, definitely snag it; I got mine 70% off on clearance after the holiday season.

Perfect if you're getting back into vinyl

I’ve not had a record player since 1989. Mine did not make the move to university when I started there, nor did it go to my parents’ new home when they moved there the same week. I would have access to a record player at their house, but by that time I was buying only CDs. But now I have a record player again.I'd looked at the reviews of many on Amazon - but it was clear that those that were cheaper, were not going to be worth paying for (despite the reviews... most of which have effectively been paid for). So I went to Richer Sounds to get some proper advice. They recommended two different models. I'm glad that I both went to Richer Sounds and got this particular model. It does sound great (though you can hear some of the record coming directly from the player rather than only the speakers, which can be a bit distracting) and is easy to use. I’m not such a purist that I could claim it’s better than MP3. Also, what a 50 year old can hear is different to what I could hear back in my teenage years. But there is no doubting that the experience, when you are in the mood for losing yourself in the music rather than having it on as background (as I always do as I cannot work in silence), is much better. For doing all of that, this player is perfect.

Save your money and buy a Crosley box player

If you’re looking for an affordable, easy to use (fully automatic) turntable to play a few records over your sound bar or Bluetooth speaker, this is a great buy for newbies.I bought this out of mere curiosity as I’ve never owned an automatic turntable and AT has a decent reputation at most price points. I say most because this turntable is the outlier to that general statement. When I opened the box and took the turntable out, I began looking for the platter to no avail. Turns out the platter included with this is the only platter that it comes with and it weighs about 1/10th of what I would expect it to. The entire thing must weigh 4lbs with the lid attached. You cannot adjust the tone arm and the stylus attached is bottom of the barrel. If you’re not used to hi-fi sound this won’t bother you but going from an actual setup to this was like nails on a chalkboard. I’ve heard Crosley briefcase players do better than this. Those cost about $60.I will say, setup was a breeze. From the time it took me to cut the tap off until it was plugged in and playing was less than 5 minutes. No joke.Missed the return window and now I’ve got to deal with the shame of selling this to the next unfortunate soul. Bless.

Skips - Needs adjustable counterweight
17 March 2023

This turntable is not terrible but also not worth the price. The lack of an adjustable counterweight should be a huge red flag to anyone looking to buy. They claim that it comes calibrated from the factory, but it is not calibrated well. I had records skip because the pressure was too light. Since it is not adjustable, nothing I could do.I returned it and bought the AT-LP3XBT instead. For $80 more you get an adjustable counterweight and it’s still fully automatic. There are several other fantastic options near this price point. The Fluance RT81 is solid for only $30 more. It does lack Bluetooth and automatic features, but is much higher quality.

And since they are old, some of my records are scratched and skip or get hung up in spots and all I have to do is gently press a finger on the turntable's arm to get it to continue on. (Like in the old days!) I didn't care for the look of the suitcase turntables and from reviews I noticed users didn't like them because their lids didn't fully cover the record. This is important to note because besides your records, you don't want dust to get into your turntable or needle. For the price, this is an excellent starter turntable. The only thing I wish is that it had some sort of "stop gap" mechanism to prevent the arm from operating when there isn't a record on the turntable. My grandson is fascinated with the turntable and keeps turning it on to play! When there's no record on the turntable the arm will still automatically activate when the "start" button is pressed and the needle drags across the turntable as if it's playing a record. But I don't think any turntable has this option, although some do have a latch to lock over the arm.
