I recently upgraded from a Blue Yeti due to the size of it, and the AT2020 sounds much nicer and warmer than the Yeti. The size is very nice and makes it very flexible to use with many stands and shock mounts. The sound quality is superior to many other mics I've heard (my friends use Yeti, Yeti Nano, Spark XLR mic and the AT2020 sounds much more wholesome than those). The only downside to this microphone is that it doesn't have a dial to set the gain. The Yeti had one which was VERY useful but this microphone ends up picking up everything in the background forcing you to use an applicable software to set the mic gain which can be a bit tedious to set up every time when it's possible to have a gain dial on the mic like the Yeti. One thing to also consider is that this is a cardioid only pickup pattern, which I have no problem with at all because I only used the Yeti in cardioid, but it's strictly specialist to straight cardioid recording and does an incredible job of it!
The mic works well. The only problem is that the attachment to the mic stand was broken, the actual mic stand end was missing. In hindsight, the pic showed that, but was not clear in the description. The tripod was also missing, though that was not offered. Apart from that, it works perfectly.

Yeah this mic is a massive upgrade to what I was using. It picks up so much! Which is an huge positive, and a slight negative. It picks up sound coming from other rooms! So Ive got a foam cover coming which could help. But Im so impressed!
Almost ideal for the home studio; plug it in and it works - you plug headphones into a socket on the mike and you can hear a "live" mix from the mike and the PC - no recording lag. What would make it perfect (and I think some USB mikes do this) is a switchable pattern.
It was quite an amazing product, the sound was great.
If you do a lot of Teams, rc, Zoom ect having great audio for your audience increases communication quality. Red/blue mute light alone is great. Plugin play and pairing with independent earbuds to listen in a call works for me. Overall for hybrid workings it's added value, less repeats and price was good.
Very good quality mic for the price if you don't wanna spend money for XLR interface
