The Audio Technica AT-LP120XBT-USB Turntable & Studio Monitors Bundle is an ideal starting setup for those looking to get into vinyl listening or vinyl-based DJ performances. Consisting of Audio-Technica's leading entry-level direct drive turntable, an RCA to jack audio cable of your choice, and a pair of studio monitors of your choice to play back through, this is the way to start on vinyl. For those budding DJs who want to get into vinyl though, you can expand this setup to two turntables for dual-channel mixing. The Audio Technica AT-LP120XBT-USB is a direct drive turntable with a versatile range of functions and connectivity. Based on a famous design popular with DJs, the AT-LP120XBT-USB has a manual tonearm, a pitch slider, an on/off dial, speed controls and a direct drive motor. Equipped with an AT-HS6 headshell and a professional AT-VM95E phono cartridge, it provides the highest quality pickup. A hydraulic dampened finger lift allows you to apply the cartridge to the record without touching it. Bluetooth connection is readily available with a simple push of a button - allowing you to connect any Bluetooth speaker or headphones. Additionally, the turntable features a USB output that lets you digitise your vinyl for playback or connect to a digital audio output. Analog is still an option though, as the AT-LP120XBT-USB has an RCA output with a ground wire attachment, as well as an internal preamp that can be switched on or off.

Not having purchased a turntable for 40 years, I did a good deal of research before I purchased this. The addition of Bluetooth which pairs easily, makes this so versatile. Having its own amplifier means I only have to replace my ageing single bluetooth speaker and buy some decent mid range bluetooth speakers (which will probably cost a similar price). Im just missing that extra bass sound which a little further expense will provide. It's easy to set up and get going, even plays 78's. The arm doesn't automatically go back at the end of a record which does not bother me. It means I have to interact with my new turntable which is what the experience is all about. It looks its best at night as the lights give it a pleasant ambiance.

Bought this a week ago.Worried about setting up which had not crossed my mind at the time of ordering. No probs just carefully followed the instructions.TIP download the manual before delivery.Always wanted AT but out of my price range. Now reasonable.Excellent kit, very easy to use, great sound. Love my vinyl after a gap of 15 years.Gripe : will not pair with my bluetooth headphones. Bluetooth out was main reason for buying this AT deck. Very disappointed but will persevere. Get a bluetooth out dongle? So only 4 stars.

I had a AT LP-60 Belt Drive Automatic unit that I had for about 8-10 years, and I had used it in a basement remodel that had a small audio improvement, but not a full home theater setup. Two in-ceiling speakers and a floor woofer, tied into a decent Denon receiver, with some additional equalizers and amps and CD players.I started looking for an upgrade for a few reasons. My wife was looking for me to be able to listen via Bluetooth when she preferred I wasn't blowing out the sound throughout the entire house! I also had received some old 78's that I wanted to play and the LP-60 cannot play them. My study focused on this model - bluetooth, USB, and 78 compatibility. An audiophile friend had also pointed in this direction. It set up easily, easier than a belt drive unit. It is also a very good looking turntable so I started by keeping it out in the room and hooking it up via a bluetooth Bose Mini Sound Link Speaker. It sounded wonderful, even coming through the small bluetooth speaker. But I still hadn't connected it to the main system. We both had a strong desire to keep it out displayed. I then discovered, something I hadn't realized is that my Denon receiver actually had bluetooth capability. I then figured out how to run the turntable through the receiver and now I am looking for a permanent furniture solution to keep vinyl and the turntable out where everyone can see them and use them.Through the main system speakers the sound is better than the old AT I had - the speed control is solid, no hum has ever come through from the direct drive motor. I am very happy with this unit because not only does it sound very nice, it also has brought more of my vinyl out for our family and friends to hear.

Early days but very pleased overall
17 September 2022

Still early days with this turntable but bought it to replace a broken Sony. Very pleased with this so far. To us it was important to be able to adjust the pitch, as on the Sony some albums were not running true. Build quality is good and sound is very good. Was kind of hoping that the Bluetooth would work with a bluetooth computer, but it doesn't! It would seem now that it only works with a bluetooth receiver not another bluetooth compatible device. This would be useful for Richer Sounds to be aware of this, as I was led to believe it would sync up. However, it would not have prevented me buying the turntable. Audio Technica advice line was very prompt and really helpful too, which was a bonus!! Would definitely recommend this, although I would doubt the benefit of ... MoreStill early days with this turntable but bought it to replace a broken Sony. Very pleased with this so far. Excellent piece of kit & Brilliant Service
18 July 2022

I've been wanting to re-join the vinyl movement for some time and this model seemed to tick all the boxes - why, oh why did I sell my old Technics deck some years ago?? I've friends who have a large record collection - so I can borrow and then record ones I like. And if the wife doesn't like my music - I can send it to my Air Core ear buds via BlueTooth. Simple. It could be even better if it was fully auto but I must train myself to "turn over for side B"!Again, excellent service from the guys (Richard & Jason) in the Leicester branch - who were able to source a refurbished model - as they are currently out of stock and at a good price. Fantastic. Many thanks.

Excellent well made turntable that sounds great.
9 December 2022

After deciding to get back into listening to vinyl after a break of 20 years and after letting my old system go I started looking at options. After lots of searching, reading reviews etc I decided on the Audio Technica LP120XBTUSB. It turned out to be a good choice. The unit itself is sturdy and weighty, quartz direct drive and with a selection of connections depending on your application. The supplied cartridge is good quality also. Presently I'm using the Bluetooth connection with Yamaha musiccast system. Straightforward connection and sounds great. The turntable is fully manual so bear that in mind, you have to lift the arm at the end of the record.

Recently set up a home stereo system.Receiver: Sony STR-DH190Turntable: Audio-Technica AT-LP120XTB-USB-CRCD Player: Onkyo C-7030Speakers: Klipsch Synergy F-300I used the direct out from the receiver into a Vizio SB3851-CO surround sound system to use the subwoofer to pick up any lows the Klipsch speakers missed. All I can say is wow! This set up sounds incredible. I'm not a techie but I did my research when purchasing these components. I can definitely tell a difference in sound quality and dynamics. This is a quality turntable that brings out the nuances in vinyl that I've never heard. I can't speak to the longevity of this device but so far I'm more than satisfied. If you're on the fence, don't be. This turntable is worth every penny.

Great features, and really good sound.

I wanted a turntable that I could connect to my Sony soundbar, and this turntable seemed to fit the bill pefectly; having both a line amplifier and Bluetooth. Although I wasn't expecting audiophile level sound quality, the sound through the soundbar and sub-woofer is amazing, and definitely exceeded my expectation.Having set up the turntable through the soundbar using the line out connection, I then realised that I could also use the Bluetooth to allow me to listen directly through my old Bluetooth headphones, which is an added bonus.Needless to say, I am really happy with this purchase.A big shout out also to Richer Sounds telesales, who gave me great advice regarding this purchase. Great service
24 January 2023

Bought my new turntable and speakers from Richer Sounds. Set the date I wanted them delivered, and they turned up as requested. Richer Soounds used DPD so I had full updates on my delivery available from my phone. I wish all online stores used DPD, they are streets ahead of other deliver companies. The Audio Technica turntable is a big upgrade for me, from a standard Technics turntable from the 1990's, the difference is incredible. On better quality vynal, well cleaned, I her no static anbd notice no scratches. CD quality is obtained on a couple of my records that are the better quality vynal. Great purchase, very please with it.

It does exactly what it says.A great turntable. It was really easy to set up, even for someone as mechanically inept as me.The instructions are pretty good, though the bit on setting up the arm could have been a little clearerEverything just feels smooth and well-engineered.Everything worked first time and the sound is great. It's a good solid piece of equipment that looks great, and feels like it should last. And a shout out to Richer Sounds. Ordered on the phone late Sunday afternoon. Extremely helpful she's person. Goods arrived mid-afternoon the day after.
