Great investment! Really does make a huge difference in sound quality to have your speakers pointed at this angle if your speakers are used in a desktop situation. I’m amazed at the sound difference it makes and it feels like I just extended the life of my A5+’s, because they sound so good again!

I'm 5'6", and I'm using the stands with the A5+ speakers. The tweeters would be ear level for me even w/o the stands. I should've measured product height before purchasing the stands.

These stands improve the staging, when the speakers are on a standard desktop. I didn’t really notice a lot of vibration from the A5+ speakers I am using these with before adding the stands, but they’re a nice add, they improve the audio and move the woofers up off the desktop which I think might give a little extra protection in the long run

For the price point they are great stands. Really nothing amazingly impressive about them. However they are nice and help project sound throughout larger rooms like my large living room. I recommend them if you're looking at them.
I love these! They have kind of an odd look as they are smaller than the speakers themselves width wise, but I don’t hear any kind of stray vibration when listening to music when they are in these stands. High quality product and I am glad I purchased them. Angle is perfect for my setup.
I actually purchased these for use with the Aperion Allaire Bluetooth speakers, as they are roughly comparable in size to the Audioengine A5+ speakers these stand are intended for. They tilt the speakers upwards just the right amount to ensure you're hearing the full sound field (particularly the mid-range and highs coming off of the tweeters). While I've literally only set them up about 20 minutes prior to writing this review, they've made my already great-sounding speakers even better (they were sitting flat on the desk prior). They seem well-made, as other reviewers have noted. Even better, the finish matches up perfectly; you'd think they were made to go along with the Aperions! All in all, very satisfied!
I thought these might be too small for my HD6 speakers. I added to the support by cutting a wooden braceat a 15 degree angle to add support under the speaker. I am not sure that is necessary, but it gives me confidence the larger and heavier speakers are secure. The tilt back does allow the sound to fill the room better.They work perfectly with the P4 and P5 speakers without added support. With the P4s, they are used in reverse to direct the high mounted speakers DOWN to ear level.
I was skeptical about these stands because I didn't think they would hold up my HD6 speakers even though they are the recommended Audioengine desktop stands for the HD6. I was wrong. They're unobtrusive but indispensable for my HD6. Even with the substantial weight of the HD6 speakers, they are easy to move around, and their material means you don't have to worry about scratching the surface on which they are placed. They provide plenty of support, and they are angled ideally to disperse the rich sound quality of my HD6. Between the foam padding at the bottom of the HD6 casing and this stand, you should be able to get rid of all discernible vibrations.
These desktop stands really improve the sound of my speakers. I also think the speakers look much nicer at an elevated angle. I'm using these on top of some marble slabs for extra reduction of vibration.
Things like this are like new shoes...you aren't sure how you'll like them until you try them on and wear them for awhile. These were the same way. I wasn't used to having my speakers angled up like that, for one thing, and it looked different. But I quickly got used to the appearance, and did truly notice an improvement in the clarity of the audio...less of the cabinets' resonance being robbed and carried away by the counter surface. The sound is crisper and tighter and better defined. I'm glad I got them!
