Easy to install; took me a while to realise the instructions & the bolts supplied were for posts bought with the product; I had to buy some 100mm screws for the wooden post I'd bought separately

Excellent. Perfect for our space. Easy to pull in and out and non intrusive. The initial line tension adjustment is definitely a two person job.

Excellent experience. Had low expectations after failure of our previous extendable line from a very large hardware chain and finding it could not be fixed. Looked online and saw the Austral. Had several questions about it and Lifestyle answered them all before purchase. Have finally put it up. Instructions were clear. I am now very pleased because it does what the brochure says it will do. That seems simple or trivial but it's not. Can't ask for more. Also I liked the fact it is Australian made.

Awesome unit well put together. Aussie made
All Good. Initially the lengths of lines needed to be adjusted, but this was an easy process.
Very good -our old one -not sure of brand as we are new in this house was damaged in a storm by a falling tree. We had the post there already- the new one was very easy to fit .
Retractable clothes line is OK but I bought a 10 meter one and it proved to be useless at 8 meters. I had to cut the 2 meters off the length in order to tension it properly. I had originally thought a 10 meter length would allow us to have 2 meters spare in case we wanted to lengthen the ljne. Also, if line guides had been fitted then the retraction would be under proper control when retracting. Quite disappointing and needs developing further.
The website is confusing in regard to this product. I ended up with a component I did not need to the tune of $65 from memory. The instructions to get the tension right were next to useless.
A couple of design issues. The pull out bar, when the lines are extended, is held on the post at the other end in the centre which means the lines move from side to side depending on which lines are used. This creates more sag on some lines. My previous clotheslines was attached at each end which prevented this issue. The notes supplied with the clothesline mention that a hole should be drilled in the base of the line housing if rain accumulates inside. Why don't you supply the unit with hole already drilled as you clearly see this as an issue !!!!!!
This retractable line ticked every box for our installation not only was I happy to buy Australian manufacturing but the quality and finish was top notch. The other deciding factor was the length of the line between points none of the others fitted my situationAll in all a smooth process from ordering to installing.Thank you
