Has been very good so far. We installed the austral 39 when we realised the hills hoist was taking up a lot of space in our small back yard. The kids didn’t have enough room to jump properly on the trampoline so we installed this clothesline in a 1m wide gap between the shed and the kids cubby. It was easy enough to install and seems fairly robust. The reason I was drawn to it initially was the competitive price. I was just a bonus that it was also from an Australian family run business.The communication from them was excellent and they were very happy to answer questions I had about the product.

The best clothesline we've purchased ever! Love the fact that I never run out of line space with the one we purchased. I can hang my king size sheet fully along one line and still have space to hang two pillowcases! I've never been able to do that before with our other clotheslines we've used. Love the colour choices you get to choose, and it got delivered quicker than was expected and very well packaged. The Austral Compact 39 definitely suits a large family or anyone for that matter as it's great for your sheets, plus it holds 6 basket loads of washing! Being the compact design it fits nicely down the side of our house without being too intrusive. Also shopping online with Lifestyle Clotheslines it was a lot cheaper than anywhere else. Well made clothesline that fits in narrow space, big enough to hang bed sheets and several loads of washing. Easy mechanism to fold down and raise. Have used Lifestyle clotheslines before in previous homes and wouldn’t buy a clothesline anywhere else.

The clothesline is attached to the back wall of the house & a pathway positioned 1 metre adjacent to the house means that I don’t get my feet wet while I hang out the washing! The superb 39 metres of hanging space means that I can hang queen bed size sheets with room to spare. The position of the lines means that I can hang smaller loads of washing on alternate lines for extra airing space but hang larger loads on every line - so versatile. I am so pleased with my clothesline, It fits perfect down the side of our house which is great because we live on a golf course, which want allow us to have a clothesline in our backyards. AMAZING!!I installed the plated, ground mounted clothesline in a perfect spot and now I am loving getting through loads of washing.I was impressed with the SUPER FAST delivery (which was less than 24 hours!). Woodland grey is a beautiful colour and compliments our newly built house.I've read reviews where people said the lines were too close apart, but in my experience I have either spaced washing 1 line apart or used 2 lines at a time which actually provides more airflow and allows my washing to dry quickly. There is so much space that even using 2 lines is not an issue.Would recommend this company and clotheslines to everyone. THANK YOU!
We selected the compact 39 clothesline which is 3.3m long. It fits perfectly alongside our water tank and matches the monument colour. Ours is ground mounted to the concrete slab. We assembled it ourselves in a morning and had clothes hanging by the afternoon. Great design, we shortened it by 5cm to ensure the perfect fit. Thanks for a great product.
Hi Lifestyle teamI am very happy with my purchase the quality is great it was easy to ensemble and the service is wonderful.The only thing I would like to see however is an adjustment on the legs of the unit that has to be bolted to the groundsomething like they have on shop fitting racks with holes that you can slide up or down this is the only problem I had and that has nothing to do with the unit.We had to raise one end 7 centimetres because our ground is on a slope and there was no way of us attaching it to a wall, we added wood on one of the legs and bolted it to the ground.My unit look great I hung a full load of washing and there was room for more I am extremely happy with my purchase and with the help I had recently with my enquiry.Thank youMary
So we brought an Austral Compact 39 Clothesline only to discover how we had planned to install it was likely going to cause offense to our neighbors (we have a fairly low fence and they are higher up the hill). We contacted Lifestyle clotheslines and received excellent support to swap the product for a different Austral wall mounted clothesline which could fit in another location. It was such a relief to know we could change our mind. Great support.
Love it!! It only took 10yrs of using a rope as a makeshift clothesline before we were able to finally get a proper clothesline. Always put it off deciding we could get it later as other more important things needed attention. Carport blew down in recent storms so nowhere to hang my rope. First job: call Insurance company. Second job: buy a clothesline. The process was quick and easy to sort out with regards to ordering online and arranging instalment. Wayne (installer) did a fabulous job, on time, polite & friendly.
