We have only had the lone up for a week or so and it is great. It is actually bigger than expected and can carry a huge amount of washing. Thanks, however to our landscaper who had concreted the bottom 300mm+ into the ground, but still allowed for a 1.0m clearance above the deck. We recommend anyone buying such a large clothesline do this so that the the mounts can handle heavy towels etc at the end of the line. Perfect as the reach to the line is perfect for someone with a height of 160-180cm. A great, semi compact line for families.

Wonderful! Waited a bit of time for delivery but the product was worth the wait! I love the fact that it's an Australian company. My line has been just great. No more spinning in the wind and sheets are so much easier to place on the line. The space it saves in the yard is so convenient. We enjoyed chopping down our old big rotary! Just perfect! The austral units are good value and last well, but here’s some suggested improvements:1. Wall plugs are useless for items of this size and weight, so pls include dynabolts they only cost $1 ea2. The hinge point impedes the main arms so when the unit is folded it doesn’t sit flush against the wall3. The side arms flex too much when the string is tensioned. Would recommend a thicker profile steelHope someone in product development reads this
Sturdy clothesline that was easy to assemble once we had drilled into the granite like brickwork! We have a large old Hills hoist which is great for sheets and doona covers but the one I purchased is great for a small daily wash load. The Clothesline Store was very easy to deal with and delivery was in 2 days. Very happy with the service and the quality of the product.
Great clothes line with a great discount at EOFYS. Sturdy clothesline. Great size. Great colorbond colour range. Great communication from clothesline store and allocation of installation day. However the installer was unable to give me a time frame until the day of installation (which is messy when trying to organise kid drop offs etc) and then showed up with the wrong clothesline. Was unable to give me a time for the next day to rectify until 5-10 mins before arrival. Which was after 4pm. Waited all day for a time. I recommend the product and the company. Just not the installer.
Super satisfied with the quality and how super easy it was to put together and mount to the ground on my own. Hi, I've just installed my second new Austral Unit Line fold down clothesline, on the small rear patio of our apartment. Happy with the first Unit Line, which lasted 7 years, I bought the same unit again. As I did with our first Unit Line, I shortened the front bar to fit the available width of the wall space.The old unit was rusty and all the nuts, bolts and screws, being only nickel plated, had long since completely corroded in the coastal conditions where we live. So this time I bought matching stainless steel nuts, bolts and screws.Could I recommend that Austral supply these accessories in stainless steel in future, given that the clotheslines are by design, entirely external and permanently exposed to the elements?When installing the cord, I found that it ... After installing the cord I had to completely clean it with eucalyptus cleaner to remove the gum, to avoid it soiling clothes hung on the line.We regularly clean our clothesline to keep it in good condition, so with the exception of the above recommendations, we are very happy with our Australian made Unit Line.Thank you for noting my above comments.

Whilst this gave us a suitable height to fix the clothesline, it did mean that we had a requirement for a 2.4m length clothesline to fit the main fence post positions. After various searches online and at the "big green shed" we found our solution at Lifestyle. Surprisingly 2.4m is not that common in a standard configuration. To ensure our selected Dune colour was in stock, I called the help line and received pleasant and helpful advice. I was advised to allow 1 -3 weeks delivery. We are so happy with this clothesline. Nice and compact (we have installed on a balcony) yet still fits 2 average sized loads on it (we are a family of four). We found installation a little tricky, mainly due to the surface we were attaching it to and our relative lack of DIY experience/handiness, however we got there in the end and it is working as expected. The only thing to be aware of is that due to it being compact, the lines are quite close together (so more can fit in the space) which can make it a little fiddly to hang and peg some items. For me this is absolutely negated by the overall convenience of the product.It was also shipped and delivered very quickly.Would definitely recommend.
