Great quick and healthy lunch. Really enjoyed this soup. Perfect size for a lunch. I heated it on a stovetop as per directions and did not allow it to boil. I found the texture good - veggies soft and cut to a practical size. I have tinned minestrone as a quick lunch from time to time and that can be quite watery - this soup definitely had a thicker and more substantial liquid base. The flavour was quite mild, but I liked that. There was no strong aftertaste. I would think this is a product most people would enjoy, though some may prefer to add extra ingredients to make it a minestrone to their liking.

A good warming winter soup. This soup was very nice. I tried my best trying to make my dish look like the serving suggestion. It didn't go to plan but I did use some of the suggested Parmesan cheese shavings. It's a little too expensive to regularly buy but it's very healthy. Without the salty Parmesan that I added I think it needed a little extra salt and pepper to bring out the flavours but I do appreciate some people might not want added salt and this would be a good choice as a base and you can always add as much as you like.

Disliked. Not wishing to sound like a soup-snob....... but I very rarely eat processed soup (last had a pouch 5 years ago, and a tin 20 years ago)I thought this would be a handy way to basically keep an emergency meal in your handbag. You don't need to refrigerate it, and it has a long shelf life, and comes sealed in an easy to open pouch, so on paper it sounds perfectI took two mouthfuls and tipped the rest down the sink. Words that spring to mind, are plastic and bland. However, you could use it as a base, and add more ingredients to it, to jazz it up. Wish I had liked it more, as would have been useful product. Glad I tried it. But won't buy

Plenty of vegetables and suitable for vegans. I have seen these soups on the shelves but never tried one. Easy packaging to open and easy to dispose of though it is a big confusing as it says the pouch should go both in the recycling and the bin. Made in Australia from 90% Australian ingredients. Suitable for vegans. Loved that it told us about the facility it is produced in, stating, the facility is running on solar which results in a carbon neutral food production. Organic by the Australian Organic Food company. Certified ACO organic. Sodium 1040 mg or 316 per 100gm. No pesticides or chemicalsNo Preservatives GMO free No artificial colours or flavoursNo added sugarBPA free packaging. Reference: Mayo Clinic. orgHeating on the stove top took about 3 or 4 mins. Looks appetising with plenty of vegetables. Didn't garnish it like the picture on the packet, I served mine with crusty bread. Taste: It left a odd after taste in my mouth after every mouthful, to the point I couldn't really eat it. My husband tried it and said the same. I can't even describe the aftertaste. I had high hopes for this but sadly both of us said we won't be buying this in future.
Convenient but too salty. TasteSince it had been wetter and colder lately, I brought this pouch into the office for a convenient meal served with toasted sourdough. You can definitely see chunky pieces of vegetables (unlike some other similar products). However it was still too salty for me. A little less salt, a bit more herbs/spices would make this much better. While eating this I was hit with the odd thought of should I add some milk and see if the taste is more balanced that way Repurchase valueIt's super convenient to have when you need to head into office but haven't prepared anything the previous night. Plus, soup is almost my go-to, at-least-once-a-week meal in these colder months. However I won't be putting this product in my basket because it really is too ... MoreConvenient but too salty. Better than the other 3 Organic soups. This was found in the soup aisle up the very top shelf. $3. 90, product of Australia and Certified Organic. It contains 8 vegetables (45%) in the following order, onion, carrot, celery, tomatoes, zucchini, Leek and kale. Also contains chickpeas (could see these) and split peas (which I couldn't really see). All the ingredients are Organic. This is my 4th Organic soup sample. On opening the pouch it didn't have a very pleasant smell or look. I tried to keep an open mind as the other 3 soups were not great. I had this at work for lunch and it was definitely better than the others but still very bland and salty in flavour. It was very watery and not a lot of vegetables. I really expected better for Organic soup. I showed my boss and she said it looked and smelled like cheap can soup. Overall, I'm not a fan of these soups but for a quick and easy lunch it is convenient. Again another very long expiry date of May 2023. Thanks Bunch for the opportunity to sample this product.
Not what I consider to be minestrone. I was excited to try this soup as I am a big fan of Minestrone and the ingredients list was simple with no unusual numbers and hard to pronounce ingredients - just the following: Organic Vegetables (45%), Water, Organic Chickpeas, Organic Split Pea, Organic Olive Oil, Salt. The packaging is attractive and has that “pick me up” factor and the fact that this soup is made in Australia with Australian organic vegetables is a huge plus ✅. Price is good at $3. 90 Per serve ✅Flavourwise the soup missed the mark for me. There was no tomato flavour, no beans and no pasta which I associate with a traditional minestrone. The chickpeas seemed out of place and the flavour was more like pea and ham to me. I appreciate how handy these shelf ... MoreNot what I consider to be minestrone. Delicious and nutritious. Australian Organic Food Co is my preferred brand of packaged soup. I make a lot of homemade soup, but I do like to have some back up soup in the cupboard for a quick lunch. This soup is 100% product of Australia and organic. Every vegetable is recognizable and the taste is delightfully balanced. The soup is half puree and half chunky giving a fantastic mouthfeel. High in fibre at 6. 9g per serve and sodium at 865 mg makes for a really tasty soup. A little on the expensive side at $3. 90. I will be buying this soup again as not only is it delicious, its a product that I can feel good about eating. Would highly recommend.
Delicious and nutritious. Having recently been offered, and tried, another flavour in this range, which we didn't like, I wasn't overly optimistic when receiving this sample. But I was proven wrong! Found in the soup aisle, this pouch of soup was easy to locate. I loved that it was a pouch rather than a tin. It is purely psychological, but it feels fresher somehow. The picture of the soup on the front of the pouch looked delicious and nutritious. In addition, its organic claims were clear. The pouch was easy to tear open, with the contents only filling half the pouch. I didn't think it was a huge serve but it was enough. The soup was chunky and chocked full of vegetables. Quite thick when poured out into a bowl but thinner once heated. I thought the lentils were ... MoreDelicious and nutritious. Quite thick when poured out into a bowl but thinner once heated. I thought the lentils were delicious then I realised they were chickpeas. So the chickpeas were small and split. Tasty nonetheless. The soup was seasoned perfectly and I really enjoyed the flavour. I wouldn't say it was what I would call a traditional minestrone but it was a very lovely vegetable soup. Unlike the Chicken and Vegetable flavour, I really enjoyed this soup and it is something I would recommend. I could even be tempted to buy it again on occasion but in all honesty, I enjoy making my own soup so probably wouldn't.
Healthy, filling and absolutely delicious. Wow I absolutely loved this product. Not only was is full of organic goodness but so tasty. The flavour was a slight tomato minestrone cross between a vegetable soup. I didn’t even need to add salt perfecto. The pouch was very easy to open and I just cooked in on the stove too. I had this soup with some tasty pumpkin bread and it was enough for one serve. This soup would be great to keep in the pantry for an easy dinner/light lunch or for the office lunch quick and easy to heat up. Can not fault this soup in anyway. I loved the fact no flavour enhancers or msg that’s huge for me and my family. Sometimes simple is best.
