Very open, clear and accurate microphone. Sounds really beautiful and well balanced. It's good for both instruments and vocals from classical to pop music. The quality of this microphone is exceptional and it's definitely worth than the price. I am now mainly using this microphone along with Neumann and DPA microphones. I highly recommend this modernized amazing cardioid condenser microphone to all musicians.

I bought two of these a few months back, and I could not be happier. Wonderful on sooooo many sources: Acoustic guitars, piano, vocals, drum over heads, even on guitar cabs. I have spent lots of money on lots of mics over the years. These mics are worth twice what they're asking. Every other engineer at the studio who has tried these have raved about them. And this is Austrian Audio's first mic out the gate! Really looking forward to what the future holds for AA. Buy these mics. Buy. These. Mics. If you're on the fence, get off the fence and buy one or two or six.
