works great! This is my second one. Bought first one in 2012 and of course it doesn't have codes for my newer 2017.I tried to update online but it didn't work for me.This new one works and probably already saved me money.

This solves an annoying SRS lights on my dashboard. SRS lights came on when I removed my driver sit to access a bad amplifier which is under the sit. Went to Mercedes dealership and ask how much to reset SRS lights & there asking for $150. Of course they will said they may charge more if they will find any problem plus they said they need to calibrate the sit. So I looked for alternative solution to buy this autel AL619 & it seems its done to his purpose.

After having trouble with my ABS for some time and the cost to get a mechanic to read my fault codes I thought I should get a code reader that does OBD2 And ABS. So it is just working a treat. However the Fault being an oil seal in the ABS pump, which in turn filled the motor with brake fluid! which in turn ruined the motor. without the Autel AL619 Testing unit, I would never have found the fault. An ABS light is an MOT Failure. But job Done car is now on the road, so Thanks for the excellent testing unit.

At first unboxing it seem to be a good code reader and referenced diagnosis correction tool. I own a 2001Volvo V70 turbo. Which, Autel claim to be able to read offering me one free download. It would not auto recognize my vehicle immediately -, secondly,I had to enter the Vin Manually. That technology is from Ten or fithteen years ago. For the better part of the afternoon I tried to get the tool to recognize and communicate with the vehicle. It never happened. It appears that, it doesn't support all it claims. Although, the equipment seems solidly constructed. It's like it's still in it's Beta trails in software reliability. At first unboxing it seem to be a good code reader and referenced diagnosis correction tool. I own a 2001Volvo V70 turbo. 2004 Holden Adventra CX8 (LS1 V8). SRS Airbag and oil pressure sensor faults. Removed both fault codes. In the past I have tried other obd scan tools (cheapest of the cheap dongle types) only to struggle with finding software that worked. This worked for me straight out of the box and only cost as much as someone doing a code reset for me.
Well I had high hopes for this device assuming I would be upgrading from a much cheaper unit that does not have the capability for airbag systems. Well I have used this unti three times and have only been successful once. On one occasion it did not read an airbag issue on a Ssangyong Rexton series 2 2010 model and then more worryingly it failed to link with a 2002 pajero diesel on simple code reading !!! I am not very confident of its long term performance and may well send it back. I would not recommend this unti. Regards hobby car mechanic David
Foxwell claimed they sent me an updated version which is NT530, scanner arrived and has no marking on its case that it is NT530. I have a 2009 mini cooper S and reason Ibought is I changed my vanos solenoid, that function is missing and also it cannot activate my purge valve solenoid to check. A lot of their functions they claimed is not on my software they sent. Very disappointed. I have explored it countless times & couldnt reset adaptation on my new vanos solenoid.
My main interest in this Autel 619 is the live data, text, graphing, and merging features and it does it very well. The ABS and SRS features were secondary to me and an added bonus even though it did not have the required fifth digit of my VIN for one of my vehicles. Perhaps after I update it, it will be available. I have already registered it with no problem and will update it via the memory card after I get a card reader to insert it on my PC. It is not perfect but neither are any other code reader/scanners I have seen on other reviews.
I bought this coz it has its own screen, no PC required. It's user friendly and easy to use. I first used it to fix for an airbag warning light after it gave me a DTC code and error description. My old one is GDS solely for Hyundai but needs PC connection. I highly recommend this for home mechanic. It's very affordable and has all the functionality I need for my Tucson.
Great scanner!had ABS light in 2008 mazda 3i and it took car of it: passenger indicator bulb burned out and it triggered the light. havent used this scanner on other cars,no need yet,but Im sure it will do a great job. Easy to use and very happy with this investment. Im a dealer,so its a really useful scanner for me. highly recommend it!! affordable price for a serious scanner!!
